Waltzing Mini Game (NOW with plan B)

  1. This is for Ace. This is for a project that MIGHT be used commercially, possibly.

    Thank you for your time. I'd like a script that can power a rhythm based mini-game. The player would be prompted to press left, right, up, or down in any programmable order and speed. To make the game harder, it would be great if I could program the game to shift the pace of the button prompts. (EG. 8 beats to 16)

    This script, if it were possible, would feature picture or text button prompts (Left, Right, Up, Down) and a correct input would allow the sprite to move or "dance". Failure for input would leave the couple standing there. (If you could somehow implement a "stretch and squash" for when the sprite doesn't dance, it could imitate them swaying). There would be no consequence for failure as this would be a one-time chance for the player.

    I'd love to be able to trigger this from a cutscene if possible. The game would be timed, about 3 minutes 40 seconds (roughly as long as the track is)

      Is there a way for script that will allow a spritesheet to be able to use a full extra moving cycle? Instead of the the two (four...?) frames to walk, using four (8...?)   I'd be able to franken together a couple dancing sprite and if they were able to use an extra motion cycle (I don't know the technical term. I'm sorry. X___X ) it would look a lot smoother than just the two (four?) frames for walking (which would be used here as dancing.

    They would walk (waltz... haha) around collecting loot and gold in the allotted time.

    I'm sorry if the plan A was way too large to handle.  Again, thank you for your time.
