Very long saving

Hi!

Yeaster day I get RPG Maker VX Ace from Humble Bundle and today I started to work on my first project. The problem is that saving takes very long time. I know it's due to Steam-Cloud but turning it off or going offline doesn't help. I even tried to turn off my internet but it still saves for very long. Just nothing works. Any ideas what could I do?

Yeah, I had this issue for a bit, it was weird. When I changed the filename of the project, the saving time fixed itself. (The filename would be located in the RPG Maker folder, and I changed it from WIP to its real title)

Though it could be argued that this change forced the program to sync properly with steam and this therefore fixed the save time.

Did you also delete the save from the cloud (it has a little icon for either cloud or hard drive so you can tell)? I found that even having supposedly disabled cloud save, I still have to individually delete each project from the cloud...then my save times go back to normal.

I don't know how is it possible, but deleting files from cloud wasn't helping and now it works! Thanks!

Well whatever got it working, I'm glad...long save times frustrate me to no end.
