Using items to activate common events

Title says it all, but how can I activate a common event by activating / selecting an item from the menu?

You can find it in the database under Items, look to your right for effects. Add a new effect and go to the page other, there is an option for common event on that tab.

If you are new to the engine I do suggest searching for tutorials.

Please do NOT edit your title in this way. The Title of any topic should always tell everyone the content of the topic to help when people with similiar problems are later searching for an answer.

If you want a topic closed, report it with the report button.

If you want to mark it answered, simply click on the best answer button.

But never rename the title to "Answered" after you got your answers, that will only make it difficult for other community members to find your answer if they have the same question.
