  1. I'm doing number of events. But I want to make the player to "Explore" more, for example, I want him to first be able to touch a lamp and active an event , and only after he did that, he can do something else by some order, while all happen in a small room. So how do I make an event to be only active after the player finished a different event?

    Second question
I did an event, when the player step on a tile a stranger is seen on the extreme side on the "players view map" and then he runs. And i made it with 3 tiles long (3 events) so no matter on which tile he steps he will always see the stranger on the most side tile. But after the player is able to move free, how do I cancel the 2 other event that the player didn't stepped on? (if he stepped on tile 1, tile events 2-3 will be gone, if he stepped on tile 2, tile events 1-3 will be gone, ect.)

Will you be kind and give me a link to his tutorial about my subject? I'm still new in this forum and getting kinda lost..
  4. In case you miss it on his topic, this is the link to the official tutorials on the main website :

Try using your commands one by one until you familiarize yourself with what they can do.

Trying to create an event with a combination/lot of 'Switches', 'Variables', 'Conditional Branches', etc when you are just starting out will simply confuse you even further.
  5. Thank you both for helping me :)
  6. To add to what they said...make a small practice game while you work through these. Otherwise you will probably end up dong what I did and tossing out your first few days of work once you learn how to do things better.
  7. Well, I'm sure most, if not all, of us pretty much threw our first project out the window, bgillisp. ^^
  8. I've thrown about 5 projects out the door... mostly because I bite off more then I could chew at the time. I have yet to finish a game yet. But gosh darn I will finish one one day!

    Just keep at it :p
