@BookishNerDan just turn on the switchID below the plugin command.
That method does work, but only when not using the recipes to unlock the item when the player sells a certain number of items to the shop.
I was hoping to turn on a switch when the recipe requirements have been met as defined in the item's notetag when the notetag unlocks the item automatically.
Sorry about not being clear in my original question; I should have been more specific. -
that is 2 different things, as this is for "Unlocking items" in a shop,
you talk about recipes, which is crafting.
if you want to craft the item that THAN unlock inside the shop,
the methode still works.
otherwise, a small modification to the plugin can work out to add
a "switchID" to it for its number that unlocks when its turned on. -
Maybe I'm using the plugin in an unintended manner which is causing me some confusion.
In my game the player can fish up an item. Once the player has enough of those items they can sell that item and if they sell enough of those items it unlocks another (new) item.
And that works perfectly in my game, I just wanted to also find a way for the plugin to also turn on a specific switch when it says "Item Unlocked" in the shop menu (there is a dialogue box that pops up when a new item has been unlocked). The player never crafts any items, they only unlock new items from the shop which they get by selling a certain amount of something they already have. So I was only using tje term "recipe" since the plugin uses that term as what to enter into an item's notetag.
Sorry if I'm still not being clear - maybe it's the heat getting to me lol
