Are there any plug-ins to destroy THAT ty button?
There is no reason for it to exist, it's just there to your work up. I happend to me several times times, that I just slided by coincidence to much up-right, where my intention just was to click on the event page. Well, the result is: all unsaved work for your current page will be gone, after an blink of a second.
Sorry but this is utter bullshit. I cannot understand how is there no input acknowledgement. There is no way to redo anything is just one click and everything magically disappears, It's frustrating as hell.
I don't why such a button exists anway, I mean, when I want to clear event page, than I just delete it or do: Shift+Selection. This is the dumbest design decision i've ever seen in a rpg-maker.
Does anyone know some good way how I can prevent this button of starting to my work up?
edit: aw yeah sorry, it's a german version, but I guess the position is the same on on every translation.
Ultra annoying button tries to kill me!!!

The buttons are the same everywhere, so don't worry about that.
On the bottom right corner, there's a button Apply, which is a great tool for a developer. It helps prevent any major damage caused by accidents like clicking on Clear page.
That's the best advice I can give you, because if you don't follow the developer's rule n°1, which is save often, it's not the fault of the program. No offence intended.
To answer your questions though, there are no plugins that can influence the engine itself and there will never be. It's quite difficult to modify a compiled program.
This button also not only clears the events, but also clears the entire settings, which is convenient in case you are clearing an event page in the middle, because this maker doesn't have event page order switching functions.
And really, the only thing I can advise you is save often. I have already lost whole pages due to accidentally pressing delete (especially now that I have delete stupidly placed just over backspace), but simply pressing Cancel and editing the event again reverted the damage made... Only because I save the pages after every successful section. -
There are several good reasons for it to exist, and removing it completely would cause more problems than it might solve. Use the 'Apply' button whenever you have completed a significant section of your event. There is no reason for it to exist, it's just there to fudge your work up

Be more careful?
I don't mean to sound rude or anything, but you can't really blame the program for carelessness on your end. The buttons are pretty big, reducing the chance of a misclick.
The only thing I can agree on is maybe asking for confirmation to clear? I don't really know since I hardly ever use that button.
As already stated, pressing the Apply button every two minutes should become a habit when making an event.
