Layout : you can choose a text layout, make it look medieval, but not dark, like your examples.

Additional Details : make a title screen and just separate as a logo, for title screen if you can, add maybe a shield and swords on either side of the title screen.

Careful with some of the fonts that you use, by the looks of things you're using the Hacked font, which is released under CC BY, meaning that you should be linking to this page as part of the terms, and conditions.

Always make sure to check the licence on the fonts that you use, as sometimes it can be misleading.

Try doing searches for "Public Domain / GPL / OFL" fonts on Dafont.com.

Copyright can very much turn out to be an issue, especially if you are distributing these fonts, and others are releasing their games using fonts that may have strict terms. The absolute worst case scenario could be a lawsuit, though I doubt it would go this far in the case of a misunderstanding however many people would not be against removing the work of others that infringe upon their copyright.

I've linked some Wikipedia articles on all the licences, which could help you better understand them, so just be careful with font choice! Also, keep an eye out for the MIT licence which gives you pretty much free reign, but is uncommon.

In short, beware of copyright, and always check the readme and licence agreements on all the fonts that you download!! (And don't assume that the fonts already installed on your computer are free of copyright!)
