  2. Really nice music packs

The boss i would be is Master from fallout 1 just because hes the most weird and ugly boss i have seen and still he commands all the mutants.

despite of being a pile of meat attached to a machine
  3. Nice music and battlers.

But which videogame boss? That's a tough one...

The Mad Scientist from Final Fantasy 4's midgame, I suppose. He had a really cool evolution form, though his battle took many attempts... Not quite as many as the electrical core boss after him, I have to admit! But yeah, if I was the mad scientist, I'd be able to invent awesome stuff ;D
  4. I would be Kefka from FF6.

Why? Well, because of the whole scene where he comes to Figaro castle for the first time.

"Ahem... There's sand on my BOOT!" and the soldiers he's with jumpt to clean them... and the oh so slimey, wonderful way he threatens Edgar (who is my favourite character).

He also actually achieves his goal to end the world as we know it and create an entirely new world of evil and stuff.

And is laugh is awesome. Also, he clothes. No one else could pull of the evil clown look so well.

    So yeah... Kefka....

    ....sorry.....

On another note, yet some more awesome packs. Why must they all come out when I have no more money!!!!!!!!!! *cries*
  5. Awesome! , I would like to be the Anguished One from Devil Survivor 2. As for the reason, well he was responsible for the creation of  civilization, and isn't all that evil.

Luca Blight, from Suikoden II --- because, deep down inside, doesn't everyone just want the world to BURN...? Muahhahahahahahahahahahhahahahahah!

...ack, ugh, I think I threw a throat muscle on that basso profundo....
  7. I was really delighted at the quality of all the music samples. Congratulations, Joel Steudler and Murray Atkinson! It's great that you include MEs too.

Great job, also, Tyler Warren as usual. You create the most adorable slimes ever :)

    Video game boss:

    Spoiler
I would very simply love to be the Archdemon in Dragon Age Origins, because you are a frickin dragon, get to fly, watch the masses panic, and make mincemeat out of hot men in armour. Not only that, the idea that you are a corrupted God is cool.
  8. My favorite videogame boss would probably have to be the mother brain from Metroid. I mean who wouldn't want to be a giant disembodied brain in a tank.
  9. Wonderful additions we need steam punk stuff, as for a boss well;

Final Fantasy IV's Kefka, because he is quite possibly the greatest villain of all time. He’s a megalomaniac who treats life and the living with about as much respect as a pimp shows for his “girls,” and he has absolutely no reason to be so psychotic. No explanation is given. He simply is. It would be wonderful to be an enigmatic villain who can’t be understood and empathized with, but who is so quirky and entertaining that you can’t help but like him anyway. Besides, if such a person existed in real life, they’d work their way up to a high level of government, then simultaneously nuke every city in the entire world. Why? Just because. If you have a reason, then you’re technically not insane, right? ;)
  10. If you could be any video game boss, who would you be and why?
DmC's Echidna, because she is so creepy and sticky. Her skills are flawless, especially her egg breeding one. She is a nice dragon lady who lives in forest and kills who stepped in her home, I love her voice too!
  11. X-men Legends Magneto, for the simple reason that whenever a human deviation occurs it is attempted to be eradicated.  That is how humans react, as a defense mechanism against extinction.  So it would seem fair to say that although Magneto's end goal would be the extinction of the previous species, humanities goal would be extinction of the deviation before it took root.  So both sides would act on the extreme based primarily on instinct as such is it right to say one is more morally right simply because it existed first, or to dream the ridiculous dream that humans could ever consider any alternate species equal to itself.  If humans met aliens, elves or dwarves or any other species it's reaction would be the same, humans are the top of the food chain everyone and everything else is below us.  So I would take up Magneto's fight for the right to exist over an idealistic view.   That's my crazy reasoning, he's just the flip side of a two headed coin, but with a cool and nifty power.
  12. I would be Ganondorf, he has great power and strength I love it how he has the triforce and so does the good characters, it would be cool to turn from (human?) to beast it may hurt though. Still it's amazing how strong he is, the battles are also all so epic! :D
  13. Lol over 1gig worth the DL for the Quest music pack. Well there is 40 BGM tracks :)

The few samples alone were awesome, I'm dying to hear the other sound tracks in there.

One of the songs he wrote, is very similar to the Tombs & Treasure's main theme, so that brought back memories, such a great song. Also love the battle, and town theses.

Edit: I must say, I'm not a fan of the Dungeon sound tracks sigh, but the other music is very good, the Battle, Town, and the MEs are very good.
  14. Hmmm... I would be... Ultros! Because you know, who doesn't want be a talking douche bag octopus :3 Oh and tentacles, do NOT forget the tentacles... Also, for some reason, he has only seven tentacles, so in fact, he is technically a septopus... Ridicilous but also hilarious. He is such a winner!

Seriously though; I choose Ultros because I am tired of "I will kill because f* you, that is why" bosses and it is nice to have something different time to time.

  15. I think with all those slimes it's time to make an interspecies clan war amongst the slime species:  Clan Flan, Clan Pudding, Clan Ooze and the True Clan Slime at war with each other over political disputes or a pretty girl if Ultros is in his clan Flan form. :)
  16. I really want some of the battlers from his packs, but I'm afraid they wont mix well with the RTP, VX Samurai, the Fantasy Hero, and DS Battlers which I'm using.

I really love the dragons in this one, a Mimic from a previous pack of his, those shades(which the Shades are Flat Jet Black, so the shades will mix well with everything, It's the other battlers I like, that I don't think will mix well), and some others, but the styles are so different from all the other resource packs.
  17. @Zoltor, I agree that they look very different and I have yet to see how they mix.  His battlers look more like they were colored with color pencils so the shading is soft, while many of the other battlers of the RTP and packs feel more like they were inked very vibrant and bold in color in comparison.  I love his battlers and I love the playfulness of them, but I personally feel they are a set on to themselves.  I think recoloring some of the other battlers with a less bold tone would allow them to fit well with his work though.
  18. Can't wait to pick these up. :)  More resources is always good.

As far as video game boss is concerned.  Magus from Chrono Trigger would be my choice.  The actions he made while being a villain weren't just to be evil but to defeat Lavos.  This was the first time I've seen a boss with his own agenda that didn't involve just being plain evil.

One of the big pushes for me to complete the 3rd 50 was to hopefully reach a number that could support an entire game.  Hopefully, I'll continue to enlarge the set in the same style and provide broader options to game makers.  I know they may not be compatible with the other battlers.  I'm in the same boat as The High Fantasy resources are also an independent option for developers.  Anyway, hopefully they are attractive enough for you to take the plunge.
  20. I would totally use them for my game, but I'm doing a side-view battle system. I own the first to packs anyway though, and will probably buy the third when I come up on some extra money :)

EDIT: Oh, my favorite boss would have to be Seymour from FFX mostly because I just loved that game, and his battle music was epic (to me at least). He was a tough challenge in some of his forms for me, but getting past him gave me a good since of accomplishment (until he came back later!). Plus the idea behind him being an unsent soul still in human form for awhile was pretty cool. And I would love to be him because of his ability to transform into/summon awesome things! Plus he almost got to marry Yuna <3
