If any of you have seen the game Misao, you know there is a "Truth" option, where you can learn what really happened with all of Misao's bullies, and the teacher. Technically, I guess you could say that it is two games in one. Is it possible to do this in RPG Maker VX Ace? It would be really useful for an upcoming project of mine.

To those of us who haven't played that game there isn't enough information to know what you're talking about. Could you explain the set up you want without the Misao references?

Alright then, I'm not terribly good at explaining, so let me try it this way. I would like to make a bonus game, an extension of the real game if you will. The bonus game can only be played, however, if you complete the actual game, and collect certain things in the game. As I have said, two games in one?

Definitely possible and have done it. It just depends on what you are planning to do.

Sure, it's been done before too. Punch Bears, for example, has game modes you can't play until you've finished the first mode. The download has the project file and the game itself isn't big so it shouldn't be too hard to open the project file up and look to see how it's done.

There is also the option to use one of the "new game plus" scripts - I know Yanfly has written one, and that is how that option is called (it has been used in other games for years)
