I would like to request a set of parallaxes which would simulate a night sky with twinkling stars. I am imagining that this would be based off of an existing night sky parallax (the entire sheet would be dark sky and stars.) Then there would be two other almost identical sheets to fade into, in which random stars slightly rotate (as in an "x" shape rather than a "+" shape) and then flare just a wee bit - kind of like the sparkle animation.
I am not looking for something overwhelming, but I do want it to look like something is happening. =]
And if the edges could be worked out so that if I needed it to loop, it could, that would be wonderful.
In my game, my player enters a dream world, and the sparkling night sky will be used frequently.
Thank you for considering this.

You put this in the wrong place again Granny. Please try to put requests in the Resource Request forum next time.
-
Shoot, it wasn't in resource requests?
Sorry! -
They all have "Resource" in the title and you spend all your time in the resource section. I'm not surprised you get it mixed up. I do sometimes, and then I go "Oh! This is in the wrong spot! How long has that been a problem?"
I might be able to throw something together. Depends entirely on how things go tomorrow though, I may be too drugged up to do anything. -
Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star!
This was part of the 2011 ReStaff by Timmah. Maybe it will be a good base for an edit?

I'm sorry I won't be able to work on this anytime soon. If anyone else want to give it a go, they're welcome too it.

Hope you are getting rest!

I put something together with the image you provided.
.....except i didn't read that it needs to loop until just now. Is horz-only looping ok?
6 frames: (its actually 3 frames with tweens)

Thanks, Adelie! It has a nice distribution of "twinkle." I'm gonna try it out when I get home. Looks cool!
