Hi guys! So my dream right now is to make a mech themed rpg game with rpg maker vx ace. The idea being that all the tilesets would be futuristic and that regular sprites of characters would be the ones walking around and in basic interaction but then when you battle it would have a full size animated battler depicting your mech. This I know sounds crazy difficult and maybe undoable but I was wondering if anyone has any ideas how best to go about making this. Which sideview animated battler script is best and would be easiest to make your own animated battlers to put it it? Also what program would be best to use to make the animated battlers? I'm also gonna need sci fi tilesets and what not which I have a couple but if anyone has some good ones feel free to link them if you want :) either way I appreciate any insight or assistance you guys could give me. Thanks! :D

Try Yami's Symphony, it's pretty easy to setup and has more advanced customization if you decide to learn the tags for it, overall it's a great battle system.
P.S. Are we friends on steam?
It has add-ons for Holder Style Sheets, Default Character Sheets for enemies and some visual effect add-ons too, so if you set up your sheets to be either holders or the default char sheet it should work out great, I think it even has an add-on for kaduki style characters. -
whats the best program to use to make holder style sheets? :) do you know?
