John 15:13 "Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends."

We are all heartbroken, moved, and inspired.
From the article:
"Decerio Coley threw his 4-year-old sister from a window into the arms of neighbors below when the fire spread through the house early Monday morning. While neighbors shouted at the boy to jump, too, Decerio instead went back in to save his brother, Sean McCullough, 7. The 7-year-old was killed, while Decerio was critically injured and taken off life support the next day. The younger sister, however, survived unharmed."
I can barely see to type.
Tragic, Inspiring story of bravery and love.

Oh Deb, that is so terrible! Saying prayers for this family.

Just goes to show doesn't it.
There really is a true sense of love and bravery in children. More than in adults sometimes. He probably wasn't even scared like an adult would have been, where we can see all the dangers and know what the likely outcome would be, he just wanted to save his siblings.
Man. Kids are awesome, and this is just so tragic!
Gonna go cry for a while now. -
My granddaugher (Raith's oldest - you may know him as Weem) is eight years old.
She would have responded the same way.... smh
This little boy used his elbow to break the window that allowed him to throw his sister out. Can you imagine?
They shouldn't just name a street, they should name a park after this kid.
I know he should have jumped. But who can see anything but courageous love in this?
