  1. Hey guys!
i started yesterday with the rpg maker mv but i got problems with my tilesets.
i want to add a tileset to the programm but it doesnt appear. i watched alot of tutorials for a couple of hours
but nothing seems to work. they just dont show up anywhere.

so thats why i ask here for help.

the file is in png i also tried to replace a tileset or name it at the same of a default one.
even i remove for example the default World_A2 and put my downloaded tileset and name it World_A2, the editor still shows up the default World_A2 file even its not existent anymore in the folder?!?! like i said i tried to replace it manually and even with the import tool.

this is the tileset i want to have https://www.deviantart.com/nicnubill/art/Request-April-446589125

i also searched in this forum but i cant find anything that helps.
  2. Assuing you are using witth your profile says...

I've moved this thread to MV Support. Thank you.

Well first of all that tileset was made for VXAce, which has a 32x32 tile size, while MV has a 48x48 tile size. So first of all, you need to resize this 150%.
Secondly A2 are autotiles and work differently, while those tiles you linked are meant as B-E tiles. So you need to insert the resized version in one of those slots.
  3. Are you putting them into your project, or where you have MV installed? If you're saving it in the MV install folder, it won't update in your project.
  4. and what is the filename and the directory path to your project?

If the filename of the tilesheet does not follow networking rules, the engine can't use the picture.
Network-rules means no spaces, only latin letters and a few other restrictions.
  5. Make sure your putting it into your project's folder and not the Kadokawa folder. Then go into the database to add the tileset.
  6. Omg guys that was the problem!!! thx alot!!!!
