I am working on arranging some tile sets, and when I use them in the rpgmaker, they show the transparent background with it, instead of showing on the back walls. I goes the same with the triangular roof tops. It shows the transparent background instead of the house. Anyone know what I am doing wrong?

if you are having transparency problems, you have two possible solutions:
1 (recommended): learn to use transparency properly—use a program such as photoshop that allows you to create proper transparent .pngs. rpg maker can read these.
2. when using the resource manager in rpg maker to import the resources, you can choose a solid color that will be read as transparent. -
Anything that's in tiles B-E is on just one layer. You have to use events if you want things to be placed on top of each other in B-E. Or, you can layer the pieces in an art program and put them into a tileset with appropriate backgrounds. :)

I got it now, I guess certain tiles can't work in certain areas like set A and such I switch them to B

Of course windows are for tile B-E.... set A is for animation tiles and for the lowest layer tiles such as ground...... Windows are for tile B-E so that u can place them over Tile A3's buildings...

Tecprincess, please avoid double posting, as it is against the forum rules. You can review our forum rules here. Thank you.
Tiles A is for walls and floors. B-E is for anything on top of those, you have to order them correctly, otherwise they erase the tile that's underneath the one you're placing. You can also get around it by placing events, and using the event graphic as the tile you want to put on top of another. -
