    In the beginning, all that ever was, all that ever is, and all that ever will be, resided in a single crystal. A crystal of raw energy; potential and kinetic. A crystal of power and of knowledge and of wisdom. A creator. An origin and a destination. All is begotten from this, our progenitor. And all too, it is said, shall one day return...

    The hour is late. The Time of Chaos is once again upon the realm of existence. The gods grow restless in their shells. That is of course, if gods can feel such a thing....

    The Swords of Balance is an RPG based around story and exploration. Follow Kalious and companions to the edge of the world and beyond in the first chapter of this epic saga.

    Features:

    Heavy emphasis on story and character interaction.

    Overhauled battle engine by Yanfly.

    Features the music of Kevin MacLeod.

    Flexible class system that allows for considerable party customization.

    First chapter (of 9 planed) fully implemented and polished.

    Interesting puzzles and dungeons.

    Lore Books containing back-story about the setting and plot.

    Hard Mode and New Game+.

  3. Here's my very quick and sketchy take on the game (link for info on why it's so short and all that jazz)

    I'm soyry, it seems like a game with a lot of heart into it, but the long and unengaging text and inexistent gameplay really ruin it. The long intro is especially unappealing.
  4. Mrbum, congratulations on your game, the story seems to be very deep.

    @Indrah: your accent is glorious.
