Facebook Page RMN Page Official Website The Magi Chronicles Original Soundtrack The Magi Chronicles follows the story of an 18 year old boy, Daryl, in his quest with an unlikely party of heroes to solve the mystery of a great evil that threatens the continent of Raethol, and the world itself. This evil revolves around a single a man who is referred to as a "Dark Lord." Though the party does not know his true name they will travel the world attempting to break his hold over it. Prologue: During the time of war many ways of the past were lost and the six Spirits of the Realm were forgotten. These Spirits were the creators of this world and protectors the its Aura. Now that the Spirits are no longer being worshiped by the majority of the population, they have grown weak, thus weakening the world's Aura and leaving it vulnerable. Setting: Spoiler The Magi Era After the wars of the Sensou Era there was a great peace. Many ways of the past were forgotten. Magic was now the means of everything, solving the worlds greed and poverty. Though some prejudice may still exist, this peace has been long lasting. It is the year 1522. Raethol is divided into three nations; Brathea, Theocia, and Protia. These three nations were born from three very diverse races. Bratheans, stuborn in their ways, are known for their strength and hardiness and are typically frontline warriors. Though Daryl is of Brathean decent he does not fit this typical mold.His parents moved to Friasia, a small city located in Theocia, two years prior to his birth. Daryl's mother had passed away shortly after giving birth to him. Much like the Theocians he lives among Daryl took to magic at a very young age and developed skills faster than most of his peers. He is one of few Bratheans in the world to possess such abilities and has grown up with the grief of his father wishing he was more like him. Character: Spoiler Daryl - 18 year old mage that attends the school of magic in Friasia, a small town in the nation of Theocia. Born and raised among Theocians, this Brathean boy has taken more quickly to magic than his peers. A rare gift that many Bratheans lack. Corran - The Captain of the 9th regiment of the Brathean army has come to Friasia to recruit Daryl on a secret mission across Raethol. Knowing Daryl's father from long ago, Corran feels that he can trust Daryl with the task while not arousing too much suspicion. Little is known about the mission and what Corran's goal is. Naomi - A cast away from her nation of Protia (Cat-Like Nation of Monks) has traveled to Vincia (a rural town in Theocia) to study as a nun. Her boisterous and rude demeanor provides the party with some frustration while her abilities as a cleric are well needed. Anyway, so here is the deal, we are stopping MV progress... The reason is: it's too much work to convert everything we've already done with The Magi Chronicles.

We've already put in so much time and effort in the ACE version and the game was close to complete anyway. So I hope this doesn't send anyone running but we will be finishing the game in VX ACE and offering the full game free to play! :D

Just wanted to let those who may not know:
I have been streaming some live development lately and if you wanna get caught up on the latest Magi Chronicles news go check out my Twitch Channel!

I'm to make a habit of streaming every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday.

Life has been pretty busy but now that things are calming down with our new baby, I've had a little more time in the evenings for streaming and game development.

I don't always work on Magi Chronicles during my streams but if you want notifications of when I do, all you have to do is follow the channel (with notifications) and the title of the stream, when it starts, will pretty much let you know what I am going to be doing that evening.

Anyway, I hope to up date the demo with more fixes and content in the near future. Stay tuned and thank you all for your support! :D

it makes me happy this will be on the Ace engine. i have controller issues with MV

that i can't find a fix for.so that news makes me happy
