I NEVER use forums, so i REALLY hope im doing this right, and in the right place...but anyway...the dancer in behaviour sprites 4...how in da hecky darns do i set her move route? Ive been using Ace for quite some time, and am pretty skilled...but im just stumped with this one thing. Im sorry if this question has been answered elsewhere, or if its an annoyingly common question..but i really need help! Thank you for reading :) ps, keep in mind, im no stranger to rpg maker, but a total newb to forums :p (kind of an obsessive "do-it-yourself-er"..not a snob thing. Just wanna see what i can do on my own, only asking for help when im totally stumped)

It's the same as the door and chest. If you create a quick event using any of those, take a look at how the animations work on those.
Instead of turning on stepping animation, you'll need to do a custom Autonomous Move Route (just to the right of the graphic), and will need to do Turn Down, Turn Left, Turn Right, Turn Up, possibly with a 1 or 2 frame wait in between, and set to repeat. To do the bow, you'll need to Turn Down, Turn Left, Turn Right, Turn Up, Turn Right, Turn Left, Turn Down, with no repeat.
To change between dancing and bowing, I'd just use a self switch (or a switch, then you can use it in the Move Route) and have two event pages - one with bowing, one with dancing, where the second one is conditioned by the switch being on, and the move route in the first page turns the switch on, and at some point in the second page, turn it off. -
Ohh, of course
..i see now. I got confused i think cuz of the right hand set of sprites of the dancer...thought i had to use them too...as usual, i was overthinking a simple thing, haha...one of those weird brain no worky moments, lol. The method of transisting from dancing to bowing, i hadnt thought of tho. But i see now. Makes perfect sense. Anyhoo...thankee much! :)
