  1. The Bleak Stars 1.1 - 1st DEMO release.

    Story:


    The Bleak Stars is typical rpg game developed in RPG Maker MV. This game tells story about young wizard which he gave himself name Tallanar. Hi wish is to become most iconic character in his profession, but he speaks about it not much.
    However his magic allows him only to control his favourite nature element, thunder and storm. He signs up to magic academy in order to develop his abilities because so far he only do his trainings by himself with no teachers and trainers. Action takes plase in alternative reality, around XVII century in small Island where men are almost extinct, located south west of Japan. Due his training in academy his mentor as well as a great rival Lein bullies him, because Lein belives a good wizard should create offensive manifestation with mana, not to control it, making Tallanar apathic, introvertic and quiet character. Due class break Tallanar breaks and in the evening leaves academy without telling a word and gets attacked by bunch of bandits and dies. At the same time in gateway to another life takes dialouge between another characters, Miyuki, her sister, Eri and Demon-like creature, Gewryhn. When Gewryhn pertractations fails he kidnaps Eri to Keelduff Island, wich is well protected against magic, completly prohibiting Miyuki and other divine beigns from entering this island. Miyuki
    finds out that Tallanar was killed by bandits and she revives him offering a deal - if he manage to rescue her sister, she gives him permanent life. Tallanar at first doubts in himself but soon he agrees and his journey as a begin suspended between life and death begins...



    Warning! Game contains strong launguage and sexual refferences wich may
    be inappropriate for players of age under 12!



    Features:

    - Ability to travel between world of living and dead (only when defeated in battle)
    - Ability to raise skills with books, scrolls, and magic stones scattered around world
    - Healing wounds with flowers (pick flower and eat it to regenerate HP or MP)
    - Tactic Points (TP) are replaced with FP (Ferocity points) allowing to use special skills or boost damage regular spells
    - Party gauges used as currency for some spells.
    - Turn Limit Battles
    - Ammunition system (Archery skills) and another currency for skills
    - Special skills ignores enemies defence and magic defence.
    - Clock showing real time (Now you don't have to minimize game to check time)
    - Quick Save with NumPad key [+]
    - Random loot from Treasure Chests placed on maps
    - Cheat codes. :)
    - 30 Save slots
    - Skills set into groups.

    Tactics:
    - Check all shelves - may contain book for wizards
    - Control your ferocity points (FP) to much of them may be devastating for Tallanar
    - Check all corners and chests - you may find equpiment or boost stats or find enemy.
    - It's highly adviced that you often use quick save (NumPad +) and in critical moment load game (Slot 30)
    - In first map you can find usefull items. I can already tell you will need to find a rope.
    - You can find tavern to drink and eat meals. Each order in restaurant will recover or boost one of hero's parameter.
    - Some merchants have in offer a healing for money if don't have healing potions.
    - There are potions they healing/recovering effect are boosted with magic attack parameter. They recover more the more magic attack you have.

    Author's notes.
    - This is my first serious attempt in RPG genre and this is my first RPG game ever made.
    - I'm not an artist, so graphics of menu, loading and game over screens what they are you will see.
    - I used default RPG Maker assets because I don't have much time to search internet and talent to make my own.
    - I'm not professional story teller.
    - Game is still under development.
    - Game is treated as NON-COMMERCIAL product.
    - Game needs at least 400MB of free space on disk.
    - Game uses external font files so for best look is recommended to install them before you play game.
    - I kindly ask to report all bugs / submit ideas and errors in private messages to save forum from spamming.

  3. I intend to play this when I get home but from the screenshots I can tell you:
    The mapping needs improvement (not the worst I've seen but still lots of open, empty spaces) and the title screen menu is far, far too busy. Less options makes it easier to navigate.
