I started this thread for those who wish to thank someone for helping them out with creating their game, providing interesting activities or just keeping this forum running. It can be just about anything. A lot of times these individuals use their free time to help us out or plan events that keep us entertained and what better way is there to tell them how we feel then a heart felt thank you.
I will start the ball rolling by saying thank you to Archeia and Shaz for making me feel welcome and helping me learn to use rpg maker.
I'd also like to thank the staffers of this forum for providing awesome events and keeping things running smoothly.
Lastly I'd like to thank Kread, and other scripters who create cool scripts and engines for us to use in our games.
The staffers here even take requests so our games can be cutting edge.
Thank you!

Nice thread :) And you're welcome ... it's great to be able to help people :)
-
In that case...I thank all the forum moderator people and all the members for making everyone (and me) feel so at home here. :) I also thank EvilEagles for making all these Weekly Art Challenges and The Tomb of Lost Art :)
-
Thanks goes to Archeia for being more than helpful,
Lunarea for the same reason,
ALL Restaffers that share assets free for commercial use,
all the rest of Restaffers too,
but please allow me to give a persona thanks to Evil Eagles too, for the hospital tilesets.
Actually it was THAT tileset that inspired me to contribute to Restaff.
What I mean is... well I didn't had DS+ back then and I was looking for a hospital setting tileset.
I found one for free. Just cause Evil Eagles did the Sayako Tileset contribution.
So yeah... thanks man!
I also wanna thank Ayene for all the RTP edits provided,
and I can't thank enough Panda Maru for her awesome, sophisticated tilesets!
Many thanks goes to Marquise, a person I consider as an online friend, that spent a lot of nights with me, while I was making the "Events" tutorial game. For more thanks, there is a huge credits scrolling in the game :p
Shaz for being a great Moderator and a very helpful person, Caz also...
GrandmaDeb for making such great link lists. ;)
And of course all of you people for being a great forum to be (surely a friendlier place than Steam community I guess). -
Hmmm, great thread! So many amazing people here.
I will say thank you to those of you who have taken the time to get to know me and that I can now count as friends - especially my Skype chat people.
Thank you to Dekita and Venka for your patience with my endless scripting questions.
Thanks to Sharm and Palladinthug for your help with spriting.
Thanks to Tai_MT for engaging me in thought provoking conversations.
I'm sure I will be back with more. :) -
- I would also like to thank the Skype chat and all its participants. I can't go a day without talking to those guys. We have a lot of fun and we help each other out when we can. They really are friends to me.
I would like to thank Goldstorm, my IRL boyfriend, for putting up with my ideas and then entertaining them.
I would like to thank Scythuz, Iron Croc, and anyone else who has given me great feedback on my music compositions. My skill has noticeably improved the (near) year I've been here and there's even more to come! -
I'm very thankful to find an Internet forum which is supportive, generous, interactive and helpful. It reminds me of when I first started using the Internet in 1990 (at college) --- and I haven't seen a forum like THAT for at least 10 years. :)
Thanks go out to the moderators who fairly enforce the rules, as well as the generosity of so many participants. A lot of people take hours or even days of their free time to answer requests, create entire musical compositions, custom tilesets, sprites and custom scripts. The vast majority do all of this without ever earning a dime from it.
Let's face it --- without the active, constructive participation of the many community members, RPG Maker wouldn't be nearly as useful as it is.
I'd list names, but there are just too many people to list. And I'd feel I'd be unintentionally leaving people out.
Just a big thank you to all of us who make such a unique community. :) -
I wanted to thank Archeia for helping a lot. I don't remember if she did helped me, but I do know that she helps a lot everywere, and she loves this thing! She took Yanfly's blog while he's absent. And she helps in a lot of good and useful projects like the Luna Engine and stuff, and for me, from all Degica, it's our main form of contact with EB!.
I really respect her, ze. So yeah, thanks for being a respectable person.
Aside from that, I want to thank other RM people that I respect too, for different things. Thanks Blizzard, ForeverZer0, gameguy. These are like the top-percentage on scripting, so I respect and thank them, and Blizz helped me too with problems (at ChaosProject).
I thank a lot of people from Spanish boards, like Marina, Dangaioh... a lot of people actually. I grew at Spanish RM forums, so I thank "the old users", because they taught me all. Even if they didn't told anything directy to me. Tutorials, unencrypted games, example projects... anything I've seen helped me and still makes me learn.
I thank anyone that is a respectable RM user. If you think you are, feel free to feel my appreciation, if that helps you anyway (?) . -
I want to take shaz for answer to all my stupid question I can have in rgss >w> !
