    Hi everyone
    I introduce you to the TGS. It's a script project and I'm working on it for 4 years. It take a really long time because I had some problems IVL and because after 3 years of work, I have delete it to start again. This is why I call it "TGS 2.0". What kind of script project ? A huge tactical game system. Not the battle system alone, but a system which regroup all you need to do a tactical game easily. I've chosen to develop my TGS by following two principles : personalisation and facility. And this is why for now, everything you'll need to modify later is modifiable. And this is why there's a lot of script call or things like this. I want my script can be used by everybody, so I take every idea or opinion, because it has to be perfect!

    - Works on RPGMakerXP, RPG Maker VX and RPGMaker VXAce, without any patch.

    - Works with the mouse.

    - A complete new menu which don't replace the basic menu :

    - A new skills menu totally personalisable : you choose the number of infos page and what they contain, for each skill or for all together !

    - There are also several commands (for all the coders who will make ADD-ONs, for example) to make your job easier.

    - Several kind of battle. Real-time battle, turn by turn, with restrictions....

    - Several kind of battle's graphics

    Currently, the scripts aren't available. Indeed, the development isn't finished and I've chosen to share them when they'll be ready to be shared. But, for now you can download the beta version.

  2. This is pretty cool. I was playing an application on a droid system and the system for it's fighting is very similar. I was thinking if something like that was made for RPG Maker, you've just answered my thoughts.

    Also the mouse system I can convert it for make it compatible with my World map system?

    and also we can replace old menu window by custom graphics window?
  8. nio > The scripts are still in development, so I don't want to share them now.
    To answer your question...
    1. the mouse system isn't from me. It's from Zeus81, a french maker (if you care). It can work with your world map system.
    2. Why did you ask this question ? My script doesn't affect the old menu.. But, yeah, you can do it.

    Anyway..
     





    New video, and new demo of the TGS ! Build 2.0B2 is out.

    A little list with some of the new features :
    - a map creator which will help you to create map easily.
    - I added events during fights.
    - I added language packs (Plug&Play).
    - a lot of bug fixes.

    English version is already OUT !

    I expect a lot of awesome things for the next update. Stay tuned and do not hesitate to give me your opinion!

    I tested the demo the script is really awesome and seem really customizable (of what I saw in the demo) 

    I think you will be have animtation so I can't judge for the moment but be sure I will take you system for use in game

    just Rgss question

    did you input the skill configuration in notetag, or you configure skills directly in the script?

    and we can input Idle pose for when the character don't move in the maps? 

    did you will input Death condition like in fire emblem like if the Commandant die the game is game over?

    and win condition?

    Battle voice will be enable?

    None. I'm currently workin' on a second editor which will let you customize each skill one by one. Can show ya an image of what I'm plannin' to do, but spchhh! No one else need to know haha:

    Yes, you'll be able to choose each animation of the character action. I'm developin' this on the second editor and, for example, you'll be able to set a special animation when the character is moving, when he's waiting,...

  12. Amazing work. Ace lacks tactical combats, good thing we have you here to make a solution for it. Thumbs up ^^ Going to try your battle system and see what game I can come up with it :D

    myself I am a script maker (more a artist D: ) and I work on a lot of system but I have a lot of weakness but I learn ;3!

    when the system will go out I will study the system and try to find idea of add-on to the system : D

    ShinGamix > it's a tactical engine. I made it like a game for the demo version but it's an engine. ^^

    Btw I noticed in your opening post you said that English is only ready at the moment for just VX, is it available for Ace now (notices the second download update is dated 7/29/14).

    Nop..Sorry, I'll try to do an Ace demo soon but it's a lot of work.. I've to do VX Demo (French & English) and VX Demo + RTPs (French & English) each time a demo is finished... And I'm going to traduce it in spanish too so...a lot of work x)
