No, but you need to deploy it and if you use any DLC, encrypt it (check the use encryption box).

I don't have any DLC connected to it, I go to file -> deployment, it succeeds, is the next step the steam management? No, but you need to deploy it and if you use any DLC, encrypt it (check the use encryption box).

I think you're better off not going to steam for any testing deployments unless you already have released games on Steam before. Steam approval can sometimes be a lottery and they can be slow to approve if you're not some big company. (Correct me if I'm wrong. I've only hadn't read up on Steam deployment news in a while.) But anyways, it's just my advice if you don't want pain and the possible long wait. Zip/Rar up the files and you use dropbox or google drive (or any approved sharing services. I'm not sure what they approve here for upload linking.) to share. I think there's a section here to request testing but I'm not sure which so I'll leave it to a staff to answer that.I don't have any DLC connected to it, I go to file -> deployment, it succeeds, is the next step the steam management?

Yes, you can ask for testers in Project Recruitment. And dropbox is fine for a place to upload to.Zip/Rar up the files and you use dropbox or google drive (or any approved sharing services. @Angelus78gak
VERY IMPORTANT:
as said dropbox (or any other cloud service) is a good choice to upload your game to when you want to distribute or backup it.
However, you should NEVER work on the dropbox version itself.
your project itself needs to be stored locally and only moved to the dropbox folder if your current workstep is finished.
If you try to automate that by having the working version in a cloudsync folder, you'll risk total loss of all your work.
