Tatekai Proposed Game Story

Hey, guys! As the title suggests, this is a story of the game I am about to work on. Tell me what you guys think if it ever needs any tweaking. The title of the game is Tatakai, which means "fight" in Japanese language (I think). Please note the use of fictional gods that makes use of Japanese names.

Here's the premise:

Zetsukami, the Japanese goddess of despair, was jealous of the other gods that they gain popularity and people praise them more than her. She then visited the human world that will give her attention she needs. But it failed due to her powers to give despair to people. The gods knew about this and exiled Zetsukami, erased her memories and gave her a human body. However her powers of despair gave rise to a god by the name of Kibonokami, the god of hope.  His powers however were similar to Zetsukami. He wishes to see his creator and ventures to the human world. He then saw a high school girl, who goes by the name of Zetsubo Rin, a member of the Student Council. Getting a similar name as to his creator, he took over her school, Tatekai High, and used his powers to turn the school into a battlefield. Dividing the students into factions which is presented by their clubs and creating monsters called Gloughs which can be summoned by using essence contained in various Glough Cards. But what will drive the students to fight each other? The god proclaimed that who ever takes over the other opposing factions and reach Kibonokami's lair shall win their wish, whatever it may be. The Student Council members parted with each other and joined their clubs, leaving the president, Zetsubo Rin, alone. When looking around, she witnessed an unconscious high school boy in the entrance of the school. She placed him in a bed in the infirmary. Once he woke up, Zetsubo immediately asked to boy to join him the student council as the vice-president, seeing potential in him, to have enough fighting force and win the Kibonokami's challenge.

Hmm, this sounds pretty cool.

Is Kibonokami an actual god though? Or just some sort of super powerful wizard?

He is a god but self-proclaimed to be master of all gods. There are other gods that originally not gonna be included but will be mentioned in the story. Though they will not be a huge affect on it except for one god that is not good to mention in the premise for reasons. lol
