System Resources Desperate For Help

Hi, Everyone.

I could use some help with the system resources. My question is how to change the:

1. Window Graphic
2. Battle Start
3. Icon set

in all cases, you need to use the resource manager to export the existing picture, then you can edit it - and once edited, use the Resource manager to reimport it.


The icon set picture needs to stay the same width, but you can add more icons in lenght.


The windowskin picture needs to stay in the same structure - the help file can explain what part of the picture is used to set which parts of the windows borders, colors and so on.

If you export it to your game's appropriate folders (Graphics/System for 1 and 3 - not sure about 2), you can skip the reimport step. Just make sure you don't change the names.

I actually tried to import a window file to my game, but it wouldn't do anything after I imported it. Does it have to be called window?

If you want it to simply replace the existing one, then you must name it exactly the same as the original RTP one.  There is a way of using windowskins with other names, but that requires a small change to the default script.  Unless you have a reason to do that, just import with the same name.
