SYFY UNIVERSE - Major Plot Holes Megathread

  1. A sort of megathread for major plot holes in the three Syfy universe shows (Eureka, Warehouse 13 and Alphas.) Anything here that really, really bugged you as you watched.

    I'll start. It's shown from the PILOT EPISODE of W13 that they have magic goop that turns artifacts (for those not in the know, magical objects that "channel tangential energy, don't ask how it works") from on to off. In a rather odd turn of events, one of the main characters get a deadly artifact (the Spine of Saracen) stuck on his back. In a desperate attempt to destroy it, he tries to overload the artifact with about a bajillion volts, at the unfortunate cost of killing himself. Long story short, he survives, but the entire point is YOU HAVE GOOP THAT TURNS DEADLY ARTIFACTS OFF! Why doesn't the Warehouse equip it's agents with guns that shoot this goop instead of RISKING THE LIVES OF THEIR AGENTS UNNECESSARILY.
