SV Sprite Dancing Poses?

  1. Hello! In the game I'm making I have a Dance Battler type character and I wanted to have them dance in place in the 'Use Magical Skill' spot on the SV Sprite sheet. However, I haven't been able to find any kind of SV template for this; the closest is WhtDragon's thread, but that's still not exactly what I'm looking for. I want it to be something similar to ballet. If anyone needs references I can provide sketches of my idea.

A template would be fine, I'm going to edit the character sprites myself. Or if anyone could post to a shared resource that could provide this, that would also be great!
  2. I've been meaning to do this for awhile, are you looking for female or male dancers?

Oh! Thanks so much! The character is male, but he's got a slender build so I was just planning on editing the female template.

Once again, thanks so much for replying. I'd also like to thank you for your behavior sprites templates; they've helped in adding a lot of character to my sprites already, they're so helpful! :D
  4. mm actually is there any kind of poses or dances you're looking for in particular? keep in mind, battlers only have 3 frames of animations to them, so it'd be somewhat difficult to get anything particularly complicated worked out without plugins or something like that

I'm way late to responding to this sorry orz

I was thinking the same thing. I guess just generic twirling would be the easiest. I was looking at Fire Emblem Awakening recently and the animation they use for Olivia seems to be a happy medium to it.
(Apologies beforehand if I'm breaking a rule by replying a year later orz;;;)
