  1. Got bored, made these. They'll all work if your character is human and the base is the default body MV uses for its sprites, with no adjustments to any of these.

Attached to this are the scythe and red sword in both Game Character Hub: Portfolio Edition and Photoshop formats. Both are separate files, but have the same stuff in them, there's really no difference.

I attached the files because the scythe has a lot of things for it. There's 3 color schemes for it. Red, blue, and purple. The chant standby has a red, blue, and purple pulse(each are individual layers so you can swap them to whatever you want). The red sword has individual layers for what's in front, and what's behind each frame; There's specific parts like in victory where the hand is in front, while the blade goes behind the head. If you don't want the scythe files, I strongly recommend getting the files for the red sword instead of simply saving the preview photo.

    Enjoy, everyone :)

(Oh, for those of you who use Game Character Hub: Portfolio Edition, I uploaded the sword to its workshop on Steam awhile back. You can just grab it there if you'd like.)

    One last thing:
The hand pulses that go with the scythe, you can add those to whatever. I don't mind you taking little pieces from my work that you like and adding them somewhere else. I simply do this stuff for something to do, I don't make money off any of my work.

^ This also means you can take the swing frames and crop them out so you can use them in the 3 frame weapon animations if that's what you want.

    Thank you
  4. Phoenix! Good to see ya back around. Great looking weapons here, I'll probably use these as long as you can put up with them being in my game hehe. Welcome back bud.

I'll update the post to clarify that they can be used anywhere, just slap my name in the credits, nothing else necessary. I'll post more as I finish them up. I have dozens that I'm working on at the moment.

Thank you for the warm welcome, too! It's good to be back!
  6. Sounds great, I look forward to seeing what ya come up with.
  7. Wow, pretty cool. I like how you made it fit over an SV actor sheet
  8. Oh, this is the next one I'll be posting.
I only have the swing animation done because I'm converting this one I made earlier:

  9. That is some great work there bud, I have been practicing hard at what you are doing and come no where near that crispness. Great job.
  10. I can't find them in the workshop
  11. Sword prop(The workshop version also includes a back piece for your character outside of combat, iirc):

I never could get the scythe to upload on Steam Workshop... No idea why. It simply posts blank files, but it has a boatload of different color schemes for it and all that hooplah. I'll have to post the file here, I guess. Sad.

    Oh:
Frame sizes are increased to 130x85 for the scythe. To get it to look right, you have to place your character at the very bottom of the frames, because this thing is huge, lol.

    ONE LAST THING LOL
It's for Portfolio Edition :) The standard GCH won't open this :o
  12. (Rules state I can double post if it's been over 72 hours? lol?)

Anyway, posted that sword from further up in this thread. Highly recommend grabbing the FILES for it instead of saving the preview.

    This is up next:
