  1. Which video games story line gave you the biggest shock with a surprise twist of some sort to the story line, or something you didn't expect to happen , happening? (Please remember to use spoilers)

For me it had to be Resonance. This is a must play game, please don't read the spoiler if you want to enjoy an extremly good thriller game. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.

    Spoiler
This was a extremely enjoyable game to play. It had a gripping story throughout and unique game play. But the most amazing thing about this game was the sudden plot twist. When Ed the guy who you first start out as in the game, a likable nervous shy guy, who you think will be the hero who saves the day and end up getting together with another main character Anna, and they will end up happily ever after. Buuut no, Ed Kills Anna by shooting her through the head, and turns out to be the guy who killed Prof Morales (who turned out to be Anna's real father). :o

    It's a must play game.
  2. Mario and Luigi Dream Tema (I'm not kidding)

    Spoiler
Where Bowser betrays Antasma, but I think you can only appreciate this moment if you played all the other Mario and Luigi games though. Mostly because you would be used to Bowser being used and his 'Partner' ends up betraying him. This time I wanted it to happen for Bowser's favor but didn't think it would ever happen.
    I'm still young, Okay?
  3. Oh no...the Infamous Spoilers Thread.

Don't open this if you haven't finished FFX!

    Spoiler
Tidus was just a dream, he was never real...like the rest of the people of Dream Zanarkand.

This was so damn shocking (one of the worst plot-twists ever in videogame history) but despite this I still loved the ending, it was so damn beautiful and sad.

I was a brat when I finished the game the first time and I cried like a brat.
  4. @Dalph: Yeah that was a good one. Final Fantasy X is my second favourite FF game after FFIX.
  5. So.. many... spoilers!

Heavy Rain, Last of US and Assassin Creed 3 SPOILERS

    Spoiler
Heavy Rain, I never even thought for a second that Shelby was the killer, honestly I was rooting for him to uncover the whole mystery first. My heart literally skipped a beat when I noticed that one of the kids in the memory game play had the same eyes as him. :( I think I've been looking at those eyes for whole 5 minutes and trying to tell myself that some other character has the same color and that this was not possible, later in the game I still believed that somehow it is not Shelby, of course by the end I was just heartbroken.
Another big surprise was when David from Last of Us turned out to be a evil, damn I loved that character... ah Nolan North curse you and your amazing voice that makes me fall in love with your characters!

Lastly Desmond dying in Assassin Creed.

@KingDanner I completely feel you with the resonance that was a big surprise as well, especially how well the character has been painted through the whole game, it was quite shocking.
  6. Nier. Please, if you haven't played this one GO GET IT NOW DO NOT READ THIS SPOILER. It has one of the strongest stories of any game ever imo and it would be a shame to ruin it for you. ALSO RUN OUT AND GETIT RIGHT NOW IF YOU CAN. You used to be able to pick it up for around 10 bucks at gamestop, but now its about 15 used and becoming rarer and rarer. Its going for new game price used on Amazon right now.

    Spoiler
Shades are actually people, and are in fact the souls of the original humans, separated from their bodies to survive a war in the distant past, and the "humans" you play as are actually the soulless cloned bodies that have developed consciousness over time. And while there are ones that suffer a condition called relapse, in which they lose sentience and become berserk, there are many times throughout the game you have been slaughtering peaceful shades completely unprovoked through your quest solely because you assume all shades are evil and you can't understand what they are saying.
