Maybe I'm just really stupid, I don't know. I've had RPG Maker VX for all of two days so I haven't really learned much about how to use it yet.
I bought the modern day tileset pack too since it was pretty affordable and I want to do something with a modern setting, but I can't seem to get the tiles to show up where I can use them.
I imported the files and they show up in the resource manager list with the other tilesets but they don't show up in the tileset menu that actually lets you select and add tiles to a map. The readme file only tells me how to get the tilesets into VX Ace, but I'm not using VX ace. How do I get them in there?
Super newbie having trouble importing tilesets.

In VX, you are only able to use one set of tiles. So, to use the modern set, it has to be re-named. Your download should contain a folder labeled "VX" where the tiles have the right names. It will replace the RTP, but you should be able to use them.
You can also look up an application called SwapXT. It gets rid of the tile limitation. :) -
That never would have occurred to me. Thanks so much!
