Sunlight Plugin

Hi guys, this is an RPG Maker MV plugin that adds an animated sunlight effect to maps. The sun-rays may be either parallel or spreading, and you can choose the sun position in the sky, as well as the rays' density and brightness. The effect can be turned on and off via plugin commands, so you can tie it to a time system for example. You can also disable it altogether via a map note tag.

Version 1.1 - Added time systems support:

1. Automatically turn on the sunlight effect at your predefined sunrise hour.
2. Move the sun position in the sky along the day (optional).
3. Turn off the sunlight effect at your predefined sunset hour.

All you need to do is provide the plugin with the variable Ids where your time system stores the current hour (and optionally the current minute for a smoother animation).

Hi, I just downloaded the plugin and I like how the effect looks, but the problem is that I can not perform any action within the game, what is the reason?

Hi, glad you liked it! What RPG Maker version are you using - is it MV, and is it 1.6.2?
Also, could you please elaborate what you mean by "can not perform any action..."?

Hi, I found the problem, I have version 1.6.1, I thought I had the latest version and I didn't notice that, so I won't be able to use the plugin? And my problem was that I couldn't move the character or open the menu.

I am not sure because I only tested it with 1.6.2... It should be pretty simple to upgrade to 1.6.2, so if you wish to do that, I will be happy to hear if it resolved the problem for you. Thanks!

Then I won't be able :v, I have the pirate version and I couldn't find an updated version of the RPG Maker MV, the same thanks.

@Redsus version 1.6.1 is the same as 1.6.2 and it does work. however, while you use a
pirated version, which is illegal, some function are overwritten and some or most plugins
wont function 100% as they should which gives you errors.

it's best if you buy the original version as this works correctly in 1.6.1.


@BallgameStudios while the plugin is nice, more variation option would be nicer or with
image support that can move slowly?

I already solved the problem, I added "delete event" at the end and it already lets me move it :v

The time system version is not compatible with the Pixi Filter Controller plugin. Is there any way to fix that?

Hello, how are you?, the second time I comment haha, the plugin is incredible, but I have a problem, I cannot download version 1.1 of this plugin, because it seems that it is not in the correct position to download, when I download 1.1 I get the original :blink:
