    Download Notes: This is the contest release version. As expected, we had a very, VERY tight deadline and a lot of things we wanted to make and improve had to be cut.

    I'm pretty sure there will be minor and embarassing errors in this build, but it should be complete and mostly bug-free. The difficulty is is quite low since we had no real time to balance them. The game is complete and and ~6 hours.

    We'll be releasing more details, help, screenshots, etc when we're not quite so burned up.

    We have an improved version in the works, with additional features such as: online achievements, new sidequests, improvements all around with the gameplay and presentation, more areas, more cutscenes, improved puzzles, etc.

    Any and all feedback is greatly appreciated. Please help us improve the game by telling us what you felt was weak, and what you thought was good and want more off. Any suggestions and reports help us more than you think.

    CONTROL NOTES:

    Somethign that slipped past us over the controls:

    During Battle, press the L/R buttons (Q and W in keyboard default) to access the  Combat  Log and Escape respectively.

    July 5th 2014: Updated download with patched version of the game (bugs and crashes adressed and fixed).

  12. It's Alma, that creepy girl from In Search of Immortality. I like this game already.
  13. And isn't Elsa the dark knight from that Arum universe game that was made purely in Lite (can't remember the name orz)? Looks interesting, good luck!

  15. A short update from me detailing two party members.

    Please note that all screens depict a work in progress and may not be representative of the final game, especially battle screens.

    She can research various topics which in turn lead to potential developments for Alma to construct.

    Yes she can in fact build a new party member! Unlike the Golem skill from In Search of Immortality this Golem is fully automated. Here's what he can do:

    Hmm, that's not a lot. Don't worry though, Alma can research new parts for the Golem opening up a whole range of battle options.

    Now that's more like it! In case you're curious about the stacks of MAT Up, in this game most states can be applied multiple times, in the case of MAT Up the max stack is 5. Poison can be stacked up to 100 times for a 200% Max HP loss every turn.

    The Golem goes through the previous list looking for an appropriate skill to use. All of his skills except Attack have a 4 turn cooldown. Don't want a Golem that prioritises healing then no problem you can edit his priorities.

    Golems should burn enemies not revive allies. Silly Golem.

    Much better. If there's any skill you don't want it to do just stick it below attack and it'll never use it.

  16. I like how you made battle bacgrkounds. It prevents stuff from looking floaty.


    I assume that shadows are work in progress so, it looks damn good. :)

  18. Been working on lots of art for the game pretty nonstop lately, but most of it has been things I can't share! Tonight, however, Racheal and I were working on putting together the menu screen.
