  1. Every time I press the 'Manage Projects' button, RPG Maker VX Ace crashes! I can't get it to work. I've tried:

    •Leaving it for 15 Mins

    •Unsubscribing from everything

    •Cleaning out my RPGVXACE folder

    •Restarting the computer

I don't know what to do to get my workshop stuff! Please help!

By the way, sorry if this is in the wrong place, I couldn't find a Steam related section.
  2. That is not the button in itself, it's the steam synchronisation that blocks you. This only happens if somehow the steam synchronisation has problems synchronizing between your local data and the steam cloud - and then you have the choice of either disabling the cloud synchronisation or forcing a full synchronisation (which might be impossible depending on your internet connection and your firewall).

I suggest going into steam program properties and disable the cloud synchronisation. Then it should work without delays.

If you do not want to disable steam synchronisation, then you have to remove unused workshop items and unused projects from the steam project folder to reduce the amount of data to be synchronised.
  3. Going to move this to Tech Support, as it's not really Ace related and it's not a question about the products either.
  4. Sorry, I wasn't sure where to put it.

I've tried removing things from the project folder, and I've tried unsubscribing from a lot of things, but it still won't work!
  5. Can you use manage projects without delays if you disable the cloud synchronisation in Steam?
  6. How do I do that?
  7. Open your steam library, right-click on RM Ace, select "Properties".

Go to the Updates-tab and uncheck Steam Cloud Synchronisation.

    Confirm everything and relaunch.
  8. If I disable cloud synchronisation, it just crashes... Again.
  9. Then most probably part of the program data is damaged - have you tried deinstalling and reinstalling it from steam?
  10. That was the first thing I tried, and it didn't work.
  11. .......Bump? (My first bump) The problem is still there.
