States that pile up?

  1. Is it possible to have states that pile up? For instance, if a state "Evade" grants you [EVA]+40%, can it be changed so that it can be granted a second time, giving that character [EVA]+80%? Or alternately, can a state "Evade" be changed into another state "Evademore"?
  2. By default, buffs (not states) stack up to 2 times, +25% each time for a maximum of +50%. Only HP, MP, and the 6 main stats can be buffed though. Debuffing it drops it by a stack, to a minimum of -50%

    Any other stat would probably require a script to work reasonably well.
  3. 'Buffs' or 'States' don't stack. It just raises and then lowers back to normal. The battle system 'Melody' includes State Parameter Change and Stack States. You might want to look at that.

    Wrong, Buffs DO stack, up to 2 levels (editable through scripting), but as stated, buffs only affect the 8 main stats (HP, MP, ATK, DEF, MAT, MDF, AGI, LUK).But i liked the idea, i might make an script so buffs can be used for traits too...
  6. Yes, I meant without scripting.
  7. Usagi Buffs do stack even without scripts up to 2 levels, more than 2 levels would need scripting. It's a default behavior of ace.
