Starting Development

I guess I'll be spending a lot of time here, getting to know the system and gathering inspiration. This comes as a small side project that me and my girlfriend thought up. My name is Blake, I have web Design and some programming experience, but I'm learning more day by day.

I love video games as well as philosophy and adventure.

I guess my main goal here is to create a game that isn't a bland Anime fantasy tale, but a intelligent and fun game, with interesting humor and deep ideas. Who knows where it's going to go, or if it will ever even make it off the ground, but I have hope.

Welcome to the group, you'll find it's mostly friendly here for the most part and people usually look out for one another as far as support with projects and offering constructive feedback. The moderators are good people here too so if there's ever a dispute they'll sit down and find the best way solve it with you. As for your project, you sound like you have some pretty strong goals set in mind. I hope those goals become a reality for you my friend and your project takes off. =)
