Start

This is a game with a short story for practicing some plugins on RPG MV (plus in general more switches and variables then i have ever done). However, i have plans to expand the story, as it is clear from the ending. I need some feedback so i could decide whether to proceed and start working on my main project.


Basically whether test-drive was of any success. >_>

I started out listening to a guy telling me something about the abyss factory and that I should work here. He stated I dedicated my life "guarding people". I thought he was lying because I am a selfish person so I thought this is some kind of punishment for me being bad in my old life.


Talked to a random dude, then spend 2 minutes talking to the receptionist and convincing her to give me more and more juice. Ended up getting 40 bottles of them. You can never have enough juice! Random dude wanted to show me where I was going to work from now on, then I had to wait until he was out of sight. I ended up exploring the place first: I got pushed around by a weird looking god-creature, which was actually looking great. Then I was told by a girl I should fetch a book for her, and since a timer was counting down my time, I tried to bring it back to her. Managed to find the book, but failed to bring it back. The screen got black, I was set to the starting point of the map again. I thought I had to do it again, but it turned out I still had the book. Gave the girl her book back and got...juice! 41 juice now!


No one else there to talk to me. Wanted to get the god-creature to be friendly to me by giving her some of my juice. Didn't work, still got pushed around. So I finally had to go to work. Random dude tried to explain to me what I was going to do, but I was too busy thinking about all my juice...so I didn't listen. Big mistake, because random dude disappeared after I said "Yes, I understand. Catching flames and putting random amounts left and right!". I have to say random dude is a bad supervisor.


But it's all learning by doing, so I started catching some flames. First time didn't work. Second time I realized I had to use the mouse and got 2. Then the machine thought I was too stupid and did not let me play another round [This might be a bug, the sequence with the flames crashed several times!] . I got angry and pressed random buttons, but nothing happened. So I left my working place to look for supervisor random dude to tell him that his machine is broken.


Supervisor random dude wasn't there anymore. But 3 weird looking creatures running up and down the hallway. Tried to sell them some juice. Didn't work. They were kind of doing their own thing. Tried to talk to a weird looking scientist couple about the best way to sell my juice, but they said they don't have time for me right now. Got me very sad...drank 3 bottles of juice. 38 juice now!


Drunk on juice I stepped back in my machine room...this time the flame-sequence worked again. With my high bloodsugar I managed to get all of the flames this time! BAM! Then I realized I only managed to catch all flames because the timer wasn't running. Not only that, but I realized I could not go back. Drunk on juice I must have been fallen in the machine myself...I am now trapped in a place without time and space [Should definetly be a bug...or not?].


But I checked my inventory and I still got my 38 juice-bottles. No worries, I am fine.


Fazit (don't know the english word):


- First RPG Maker Game (that wasn't made by me) I EVER played


- Supervisor random dude needs to step his game up. Didn't really motivate me


- Weird looking god-creature is very mean


- No one but random dude wants to talk to me. I think they are all jealous because of all my juice


- Game needs to have more options about juice (trade, sell, make your own...)

God-creature still mean to me. Book-girl quest is still buggy. I still have enough juice to supply the whole abyss factory...and the game still cannot handle your flame-minigame. This time the timer stops at 00:14 and there is no escape...not even if I catch all of the flames

I completed the game...I guess. Tried to mess the machine up --> worked. Got some sparks next to my juice --> worked. Finally pushed mean-god creature aside --> worked. Then I dumped the sparks and mean-god creature got angry at me...I assume it killed me because it said game over right away. Quite an unpleasant ending to be honest...
