hey guys anyone have any idea how to do a STAB like in the pokemon games, where a fire mage does more damage with fire moves than others etc?
Edit - It seems like yanflys element core does what I'm looking for

I don't know if you have resolved this issue, but if you are looking to apply this to multiple characters and enemy types fast, I would recommend getting YEP Passive States as well. You can make a passive state for an element type and apply that state to the corresponding element type of the enemy or player.
Ex: Let's make a passive state for fire type. In the parameters, make the state weak to water and use the YEP Element Core note tag in the state's note box. To test out if the state is taking effect, give it an icon and it should show on the player/enemy. You could even add an immunity to a state if you don't want the character or enemy to be burned. If it works and you don't want the state to appear, remove the icon after checking.
To speed up the process you can just apply this new state to every fire type character.
