Thanks for the feedback, @Ms Littlefish!
There’s still a lot of game development I need to learn, but I’m glad the parts I enjoy the most (graphics and overall premise) managed to come through :kaophew:

Thx for the feedback!
I actually wanted to add proper puzzles into the game, but I abandoned that once I noticed that I had spent like 90% of my time on the art.:kaoswt:I do wish there was some sort of active element like puzzles
I genuinely just gave up when it came to some of the ground tiles, lol.The ground also looked…really square?
I kinda wanted the dialogue and what-not to get across that weird spooky crap like the stuff in-game isn't uncommon or unexpected to anyone, and that it tends to be more of a nuisance than anything. But considering this and the other pieces of feedback I've gotten, I definitely just confused the people playing since not reacting to literal tree monsters kinda goes against any and all forms of common sense.I seemed more surprised than the characters!
Gonna go out on a limb and assume this is at least partially referring to the bookshelf interactions, and yeah, not my finest work.:kaoswt2:some of the object interactions were a bit too much of a tone shift
Congrats to the other winners, and shout out to all the other participants, game jams ain't easy! :kaopride:
