Split screen battle

  1. I've really debated requesting this, based on need... but I kinda want it :p

    What I want is this:

    The battle screen will be split in two. (i have modded backs already).

    On the left, batler pics for party, (max 3) with images set in class notes.

    The right will have the enemies battler as normal (no programming).

    Needs to be able to use enemy hp bar script on both enemy and party. (i can mod hp bar script once I have a target for it.)

    When enemy attacks party, it shows animation on actor battler.

    I have menus otherwise set up already.

    Must be independant of engines like VE and YUNFLY do to other script interfearance.

  3. Needs visuals. Can't imagine what it's like.

    The right will have the enemies battler as normal (no programming).
    You need programming just to have enemies on the right.

    Like I said, i can make the HP bars and have the menus (a little different then this format). Just need it so actor appear as battlers on screen and animations hit them like enemy battlers.

    Guess I could try the side battle scripts out there, but those use sprites, and I'd probably have to rewrite their menus and other stuff...

    What's the problem? Battlers are also sprites.
  6. I was never too fond of 2003 do to the side battles...

    guess it can't be helped...

    Dang animated battlers...
