    Name: Spell Tiers

    Version: 1.1

    Version History:

1.1 - Completely rewritten with less and lighter code. Removed Tier limit of 8. Tiers are limitless now. Also removed battle system overwriting.

    Features:
Instead of having unlimited skills this script will limit your class. You can set any number of tiers for your class. Each tier consists of up to 3 individual skills.

  2. Nice script, would love to use it. Looks like it may be Lost Odyssey inspired? :)
  3. Hey, this is cool! Like Final Fantasy 1, and 3 I think...? Except those originally had a shared spell stock for each level. (....idea?)

It's visually appealing, I like having the skills listed that way. Doesn't leave much room for skill names, but it's more reason to keep it simple.
  4. @Lear, Probotector 200x

This was inspired by Final Fantasy 3.

Script updated - removed battle scene code, reworked the code, and you can now have any number of tiers. Not limited to 8 anymore.

I don't recall Lost Odyssey having a system similar to this. I'll have to get it again and play it. This script looks pretty cool, though I'd like a demonstration of how it works.
  6. @Diretooth

It works like a... normal skill list? Except skills are listed into tiers and not categories. I don't believe there's much to see in a demonstration. Screenshots do plenty.
  7. I'd like to use this to just some of my Party members, and not the others.  (I'm using different systems for diffrerent kinds of casters, A tome system for Arcane spells, this for Divine spells.)
  8. This is really awesome!

If looking for any suggestions as to what might be cool to add, maybe make a way for the player to be able to unlock more tiers? Such s starting the game with only say 5 tiers, and then maybe they can find items or something that increase their tiers, or equipment that increase their tiers? Anyways, just a suggestion. Good job :)
  9. So... Do you select the spells for your actors via the skill menu? I mean can actor have 10 tier 3 spells but only 3 of them are active in battle?

Mr.T, can you convert this VX Ace script into an MV plugin, provided you are both willing and able?
  11. @Emperor DragonBreath,

Guess it's about time to convert it then. Won't be right this moment though, probably in 1 or 2 weeks.
  12. How would I do something almost like this VX Ace script in RPG Maker MV?

Is there any way I could have skills displayed kind of like in this RPG Maker VX Ace script in RPG Maker MV?

Do you know anything that can convert Ruby to JavaScript?
