Something's wrong with saving...

Hi everyone;

for some reason whenever I try to save it takes like 5 seconds - VX Ace is nor responding for app 3 seconds - wait for 5 seconds - save.

It's really weird, I have no idea why it's happening. Didn't happen before.

I have Steam Cloud disabled.

Any ideas?

I get this sometimes when i have to many scripts.

Make a backup project; Then using you're newly made backup project, remove some individual scripts and try saving again. Continue doing this until you find the solution to you're problem.

(The saving delay could also be due to the order of the scripts.)

Most probably it's the steam workshop - if your synchronisation is not complete, it'll take some extra download/upload time just before saving to synchronise everything again.


Disabling cloud services does not disable the workshop, that can only be done by switching to an old version in the beta tab, and it will remove several improvements done since then.
