    hey, guys remember me? I have a few more questions...

    1. How do you you make the name appear at the top of a text box

    when someone is speaking?

    2. What are variables and common events?

    thats all for now.... plz help :D

    1)  Needs a script.

    2) Variables and common events are some of the most basic building blocks of using the engine.  Andar has compiled an excellent set of info which contains the fundamentals that you will need.  You can find it here: http://forums.rpgmakerweb.com/index.php?/topic/14727-a-starting-point-for-new-users-v08/?hl=+starting%20+point%20+users

    As you are still at the stage of asking questions like (2) I strongly suggest you get these sorted out before looking at scripts.  Spending time on the essentials now will save you a ton of time and frustration in the long run.

    I agree with ksjp17 - if you're asking what are variables and common events, you need to do more beginner tutorials.
