[SOLVED] Skills disappeared after YEP upgrades

Good night, my friends.

Resume: I can't see or choose any skill during battle.

Where: Either in Battle Test or in-game

What: Skills don't show. If actor has skill, I can select an invisible option and use the first one, but I can't see any other options nor select it, even when trying to move cursor

When: After I downloaded the new .rar with all YEP upgrades from his site.

Tried:

- F8 to load debug but nothing shows since there isn't an error getting passed;

- Skills with different abilities: vanilla, instant cast, cooldown. All can be used as described above but don't show or can be selected

- ReD/L and re-extracting the .rar

If you disable all the plugins, do the skills show?


Have you changed the font you're using?


If you believe it's caused by one of Yanfly's plugins, please just disable them all, then re-enable them one by one until you figure out which one it is, and then post in the thread for that plugin (if there is one here). That'll ensure Yanfly sees it.

The skills returned when I deactivated the YEP Skill Core (it didn't showed when I turned off Instant Cast and Skill Cooldown). Will search the respective thread and report there.

That was due to an update. When you update, you MUST follow the instructions on this video:





What you most likely did (not) do, was not open up the plugin within the Plugin Manager after updating it. Why is this a problem? Because when a new parameter is added and you don't do that, you'll get an undefined value for the new parameter. In this case, the columns parameter was added to the Skill Core. Undefined number of columns means 0. Thus, you will show 0 skills in your window.
