So is rpg maker xp not compatible with windows 8?

    Does anyone have this problem or is it just me?

    It is compatible with windows 8, as I've never had a problem with it. I read in another thread that this bug, while annoying when you're mapping, isn't there anymore when you're actually playing/testing.

    Yeah, it's weird. Happens to me too, but it doesn't change the functionality of the editor. The worst thing that it does is makes it hard to see some of the tileset if it's a similar colour to the background. I also don't know how it chooses what colour to make the background - sometimes we get blue, hot pink, green, purple ...

    I know nothing about RMXP and Win 8. I don't even own the Win 8 lol

    But, have you tried to run the RMXP in compatibility mode?

    It still happens even in compatibility mode.

    they don't have a Option in the tool section? (I mean when you click on tool you can see option ...likes ace?)
