Smash Bros script?

  1. Hi there!  I am wondering if someone out there could make a smash bros script (If you don't know what smash bros is, here is a video of SSBM gameplay:

    )
What I am looking for is just basic Smash Bros, doesn't even have to have all the extra modes!  I would like for it at least to have a singleplayer where you can unlock characters, but it doesn't matter.

Of course I will credit you (Leave the name you want to be credited as, or I will just use your username if you don't) , but please read below:

    WARNING!

This series that I want it for is going to become commercial.  Also I might edit the script a little bit.

    Thanks!
  2. Please describe in a text in detail what you want, not comparing it to any other game.

There is a chance that this might already exist under a different name - and if it doesn't you need to provide a scripter with a fixed description of what is needed, because it'll be rarely (almost never) that a scripter is willing to play a game or watch a video to learn what is wanted.
  3. OK, so I want a Single player mode, where you can go through challenges, such as going though the existing character roster.  I also want a multiplayer mode, where you can have up to 4 players.  In this mode it will be able to have 3 computers and one player, or all computers.  Also by computers I mean just an AI.  In both modes, battles will be staged in well... A stage, as above.

It would also be nice if:

There could be a WiFi mode where you connect to the internet, and battle against other people for the top rank.  Hmm... Point system?

The roster was fully costumizeable, because I want a game where all of my characters come together to fight one another.

That one above was more of a requirement... But yeah I think that is it!  Also I want it to be it's own game not a minigame.  Thanks!
  4. Oh and I just came up with a couple ideas on the walk I just took.  So:

I think the WiFi battles should have options like:

    Connect with the Worldwide server

Connect with a friend and battle (They would be connected to their own server, which they would make(Kind of like Minecraft?)and battle you and anyone else that joins)

And also a sound control on the main menu.  A good example would be balancing the SFX with the BGM.  The player would choose the balance between the two.

Thanks if anyone can pull this off!
  5. joey323, please avoid double posting, as it is against the forum rules. You can review our forum rules here. Thank you.

If you had searched for "online game" on this forum, you would have been able to read that all tries to make an online or even local multiplayer script have failed so far due to the needed workload.

Estimates are that creating an online script will require about half a dozen good programmers between six to twelve months fulltime to create such a script, which means the cost of it would be a 5-digit dollar number.

And that doesn't even include the monthly cost for that worldwide server.

There is absolutely no way anyone can request something like this for free - if you aren't willing to pay several thousand dollar for it, there is no chance of you getting an online script done. Several tries to make that have already failed, you need professional (paid) programmers to pull this off...
  6. Sorry about double posting.  I forgot I could edit my previous post!  It was late. Ha!

It doesn't have to have an internet system.  Instead I was thinking a connected computers maybe?  Or maybe just nothing at all.  I would like very much for it to be at least multiplayer though.

Thanks if someone could do this!
  7. Good luck with this request joey. You are going to need it. These kind of requests rarely get fulfilled even when money is offered.

Those numbers do not really fit. A 6-digit dollar number is a much more reasonable estimate.

    *hugs*
  8. Ah I hope someone is crazy enough to do it.  I figured out a way to do it with events, but it won't look as good.

Perhaps you should rephase what you're talking about, because your last post made no sense.
Your main wishes in your first posts were about online functionality - that can only be done by scripting, and that is what we called to be expensive.

But events cannot make anything with online-functions, so whatever you have done with events has absolutely nothing to do with the online system or the expensive parts.

If you specify what non-online parts you currently have done by eventing and want to be done by scripting - that might be solvable as a request, it's only the online/multiplayer parts that are out of the way...
  10. I realized that it would be easier to do with Game maker, so I am probably going to use that.
