Slash Earth

Hello friends!

One of the actors in my current project is a magic swordsman and he has four skills: Flame Blade, Ice Blade, Thunder Blade and Stone Blade. There are animations in the RTP that work nicely for the first three, but I couldn't find an animation anywhere that is similar to use for Stone Blade. I feel like it would be a fairly common animation so I feel silly asking this, but does anyone know of a "Slash Earth" animation similar to the VX Ace "Slash Fire," "Slash Ice and "Slash Thunder?" Or, if one doesn't exist, could someone possibly make one? I appreciate any help that is offerred.

I don't think it's possible to export database animations, only the animations you use in connection with sound effects to create them. However, if you make a new animation in the database, choose your two graphics as "Earth01" and "Sword01". If you know how to then put these into your database animation, great! If not, look for a tutorial, because I can't explain that part very well. Then, click 'play' and make sure it runs smoothly. Then, add the sound effect at the top and add the "Slash01" sound effect at frame 3. Also add the sound effect "Earth01" at whatever frame the rocks in the animation appear. I hope this helped. I had thought about something like this but I decided against it. Essentially the above would just be the slash animation played with the earth animation, either in a sequence or together. But it would still be a mashup of two separate animations. What I am hoping for is a single animation that is similar to "Slash Fire" from the RTP but earth themed.
