Finally finished, although the grammar could use some work.(Trying to improve on that)  For the story, I decided to spent 25 themes on an arc and 4 arcs in total.

1. Introduction:

Arc 1: Jensei Life
 
Akki: (thoughts)
"Everyone was created to have good in their heart; the only ones considered evil are only misjudged."
 
    Well, that's what I like to think... Anyways. I like to believe that everyone is good deep down, it is only mankind that corrupts them.
I have always been known as a demon and caused misfortune where ever I went. No one ever tried to befriend, so I was always alone. There was only one person, I could have called a friend, but in the end I killed... NO! I promised myself I would forget and move on. I chose not live in the past. I want people to see me as who I really am...
 
"Saito! Saito! Do you hear me? We are here."
 
 Huh? I was suddenly pulled out of my thoughts, by a voice and noticed my surroundings.Lush green forest surrounded the area, only blocked by the huge gates around the place.The sounds of cars could be heard from away, but I was quickly mesmerized by the building in front of me. It seems that class was still in session, due to the quietness of the place. It seems peaceful, unlike its reputation. 
 
"Saito Akki! Are you even listening to me?!"
 
I was again pulled out of my thoughts by the same voice from before.
 
Akki: (normal perspective)
"Sorry could you repeat that?", I quickly replied and look up.
 
 A women around the age of 20, was glaring at me and looked as if she wanted to rip me apart. The long red hair, didn't help the fact that she looked like a demon sent from hell. All she needed was a pointy tail and horns to complete the look. If I remembered correctly,she said her name was Rina and was a teacher here.
 
 "Arrgh. Alright I'll explain it once more. You better listen to me this time!", Rina grunted and continued, "Jensei Battle Academy or JBA is a school known for its study in the field of magic. It was established in order to grant students the freedom to study as they like. Unlike, other schools. JBA the classes are based upon rank...."
 
  Rina was then interrupted by the sounds of explosion filling the air. Lightning crackle the air as the explosions got nearer to where we are standing. Smoke soon covered the air and the sounds of footsteps could me heard coming near us. 
Once the smoke cleared, I  could make out two figures fighting head to head with each other. A crowd soon appeared before us, as the two soon got in a fighting stance. The two clashed with each other, erupting in a mixture of fire and lightning to fly all over the place.
 The guy to my left had blonde hair, it seen to fit him due to the electricity bursting through his hands. The one on my right, had pitch black hair and was currently aiming his fire at the former.
 
The crowd was so busy cheerful, that they haven't noticed she has appeared...
 
Character Profile:

This took rather longer then expected, and I plan on doing 2-3 of these per day. I'm aiming toward making it longer but at my current rate, this took me about 2-3 hours. This arc will just introduce the main characters, so it won't be very long.

2. Complicated

 Arc 1: Jensei Life
Akki:
   As I stared at the two fighters clashing with each other, I couldn't help, but noticed the air around me becoming thicker. Black fog soon surrounded the area, as the crowd grew  strangely silent. I could hear faint whispers about a demon witch from hell coming, as the fighters kept at it. At first, I glanced at Rina; thinking they were talking about her. However, the black fog soon began to gather in one place and took form.The two fighters suddenly stopped  and everyone's attention was on the girl that came out of the fog. There she stood, her black hair flowing in the wind as her blue eyes pierced at anyone who dares cross her.Her bangs covering one side of her faces, while the other side revealed pale skin. She wore the standard uniform for Jensei, but what made her stand out was the red band attached to her left arm. At a closer look, the head band had "Disciplinary Committee" written on it in bold gold letters. 

She then began to speak,"Disrupting the peace of Jensei is a direct violation of school rules. All fights must be supervised by the school and follow the basic guidelines as stated. Those who break the rules will see death ten times." With the last words said, two scythe materialized in her hands.

As she was prepared to strike, the blonde guy from before interrupted her.

"Come on Akira, we're just having a friendly match."The blonde guy grinned and laughed as if he didn't have a care in the world.

The raven haired girl now known as Akira, didn't seem to find this funny; as she quickly replied with venom in her voice.

"Those who break school rules, must die. Konae Luke."

As fast as she appeared, Akira launched herself toward Luke and the other guy striking them with her scythe. In a matter of seconds, they were rendered unconscious. Her focus then turned to the crowd of students crowding within her precious school. With one glance at her glare, the crowd of students soon disappeared; leaving him and Rina alone with the demon prefect.

My body suddenly tensed up as she walked toward to where I was.I soon relaxed as she slowly faded away along with the two guys from earlier. From afar, I heard her mutter about idiot monkeys and disposal of bodies. I silently prayed for their safety from the demon prefect.

I was again pulled out of my thoughts as I felt a slap upon my face. I slowly looked up and saw a pissed off Rina glaring daggers at me.

'You have a really bad time paying attention don't you, Akki Saito?" She yelled out.

"That doesn't mean you should slap me you wretch!" I quickly replied

"Huh? Didn't your mother ever teach you to not to cross a beautiful young lady. How do you expect to get in a good rank with that kind of attitude."

I quickly tried to mask the look of sadness on my face from the mention of my mother, but I was afraid she noticed. So I threw a questioning look at the mention of the ranks.

"Could you explain the ranking", I quickly said; in hopes of her taking the bait.

"You didn't study about this place very much, have you?" Rina replied," Its rather complicated for someone like you, so listen up!

Jensei Battle Academy is grouped into different ranks rather then grades. The rankings is determined by your MP or magic power. Those with the MP of 500 or higher are placed in Rank A; however those who who have 99 MP or lower are placed in Rank F aka the failures in life. The ranks you are in determines the courses you will take within Jensei.

Your ranking will be calculated in the Battle Room, where we are headed now.

This chapter is kinda dark, so skip the flashback if you don't like that kind of stuff. Also, the next chapter suppose to have a lot of character, and coming up with so many could be a pain. So if you want to be a character within this just fill this form out:

3. Making History

  Arc 1: Jensei Life
Akki:

As Rina and I made our way to the battle room, an awkward silence filled the air between us. I began to think of my current situation, and couldn't help but think about my past.

Flashback [10 years ago]

"Get out of here you monster!" 

"You demon, you should have never been born!"

Insults after insults were thrown at me as I stared at "them". The one who were suppose to love and support me. Their faces were filled with anger and disgust, as they looked down on me. We used to be such a happy family, but it all stopped when my magic began to appear. At first, I thought it was a blessing, but once my parents found out, they wanted nothing to do with me. The tears that I had been holding back were now falling down my face, as a drowsiness suddenly overtook me. All I kept thinking was how my magic was only a curse before I blacked out.

Flashback end

I was thrown out of my thoughts as we approached a dome sized building. The building was painted white and reminded me of a coliseum.

Rina broke the silence and took me inside the dome.Once we were inside,she showed me into a  room that had a huge clear crystal in the middle of it. She then began to explain the test to me:

"The test to determine your rank will be simple. All you have to do is hit this crystal with your magic. It will then determine your magical power and you will be ranked accordingly."

She then proceeded to take a step back and ushered me to hurry up.

As I stared at the crystal, I began to think back to my past. My magic was only known to cause sorrow and death. What if I killed people like in the past? Will I be forced to leave?

[45 minutes later]

In the end, I couldn't find myself to do it. I had told Rina that I refused to do it. After, cursing me out, she lead me to my class and went back to fulfill her duties.

This is how I came face to face with Class 27 of Rank F, as the only student to have join by not taking the test. I swear I made history with this little stunt. 

Somewhere unknown.

"So he decided to attend Jensei? Ha. He should know running away won't solve anything. I will avenge her by killing you, Akki Saito. You won't get away from me this time."

Only one more character to introduce.

4. Rivalry

   Arc 1: Jensei Life

Akki:

 As I stared at the door, I couldn't help but wonder if I made the right choice in not taking that test. I decided not to think to much on it, and quickly opened the door. Once I entered the classroom, I quickly took a glimpse around the room.

At the front of the room, stood a lady with short purple hair.It seems she was in the middle of a lesson before I had came in. I quickly bowed down, as a sign of apology.

"I'm sorry, for interrupting, but it seems I have been transferred into this class" I said while standing back up.

"Oh, you must be the new student, Rina told me about. You can call me Mrs. Ikari"  She replied.

"I'm A-Akki Saito. It's nice to meet you." I uttered.

 Mrs. Ikari then proceeded toward me, and ushered for me to go to the back.

"Well, Mr. Saito, you shall be sited next to Mr. Konae. Raise your hand please, Mr. Konae." Mrs. Ikari then said.

I looked to the back of the classroom and noticed the same blonde guy from earlier raise his hand. I walked toward to where he was seated; careful not bump into anybody. As I sat down next to him, I noticed that he was covered in bandages. This was probably due to the beating that Akira gave him earlier.

"Nice to meet ya, I'm Luke. Konae Luke. I hope we can be friends" He said while smiling at me.

He sorta reminded of the sun, always cheery.

"I'm Akki, nice to me you to Luke." I replied.

[45 minutes later. The bell for lunch rings]

"Arghh! That was so boring. Why do we have to learn this anyways."shouted Luke as he slid down his chair.

"Come on it isn't that bad" I tried to reason with him.

 Luke was about to response, when both of our stomach growled. 

Our laughter filled the now empty classroom, as I began to wonder.

"Was this what having a friend was about? Will what happen, repeat itself?" 

"So do you want to do it?" Luke said.

"Huh?" I replied giving him a questioning look, "Sorry, I wasn't paying attention"

"Haha, Your a funny guy, Akki. You had a weird look on your face too. Well, I was just saying that we should go get lunch" Luke said.

"Oh, yeah! Let's go!" I quickly put on a smile.

[Jensei's Patio]

Luke and I were walking to the lunchroom, when we saw a crowd of students in front of us. We decided to walk closer to find out what was happening and I noticed the crowd of students suddenly cheering. The name Kiyo could be heard among the shouting.

I asked Luke who she was and I found him glaring at me.

He then replied,"She's my rival."

5 down 95 to go! Kiyo is a main character so I don't really know why I made her such a brat. All I can said is character development.  :p

5. Unbreakable

    Arc 1: Jensei Life

Akki:

  I was about to question Luke on what he meant, but as I was about to; a girl with long blonde hair stepped out of the crowd. I noticed her look around for something, and found her lay her eyes on Luke. She then began to walk toward us, as the crowd continued to coo over the blonde beauty.

  "What do you want, Kiyo." Luke spitted out with venom in his voice.

I was quickly surprised at the fact that Luke could even get angry, but it didn't last long as Kiyo began to speak.

"You should really learn to respect your elders you know?"

"Why should I respect a spoiled brat." Luke rebutted.

"Don't be jealous Lu-kin" Kiyo said with a smirk, "No wonder, dad thinks your a disappointment. You barely have any friends and to make matters worse your in the worst rank in the whole school. So drop that stupid smile already."

That comment seem to silence Luke as he lowered his face. Kiyo proceeded to walk away and the crowd of her admirers following her. Soon enough, Luke and I were left alone in the patio. An awkward silence filled the air, as I didn't know what to said. Thinking that this silence was to much, I began to speak.

"So... who was that girl?"

Luke was silence for a moment before he looked up at me with a forced smile and he explained.

"Her name is Kiyo Konae from Rank A. She's... my younger twin sister."

"Sure didn't act like it, you guys acted more like enemies than family." I replied.

Luke then began to speak again, "Well, we were always fighting, but in the end she would always win. I really am worthless."

"Don't said that. It's not true" I tried to cheer him up.

"How would you know, huh?", he shouted, " You don't know what it's like to like in someone's shadow."

Tears were now streaming down Luke's face as he continued to yell.

" Everyone always chooses her ever me! Even all my friends abandoned me once they found out that Kiyo was my sister." He lashed out, "I bet even you'll abandon me to, huh?"

"That's not true, I'll never leave my friends" I shouted. 

"Don't kid yourself, Akki. We just met, how can we be friend?" He replied.

 "A friend is someone who is always by your side. A true friend will never leave your side." I said, " Luke, you shouldn't live in your sister's shadow. Take the light for yourself!"

It seems my words had finally reached Luke, as he finally smiled for the first time since we met.

I really don't know anything about friendship myself, but I had a feeling that our bond would be unbreakable.

There all the main characters are now introduced: Date, KIyo, Luke, Akira, and Akki. The Jensei Life Arc is now and ended and the next 5 chapters will have alot more action in it. Secrets will be revealed and bonds will strengthen or crumble

6. Obsession

     Arc 1: Jensei Life
Akki:

The words I said echoed my mind as Luke and I continued walking to the lunch room.

Flashback
"Don't kid yourself, Akki. We just met, how can we be friend?" He replied.
"A friend is someone who is always by your side. A true friend will never leave your side." I said, " Luke, you shouldn't live in your sister's shadow. Take the light for yourself!" It seems my words had finally reached Luke, as he finally smiled for the first time for real since we met.

Flashback

At first I thought it was the right thing to said at the moment, but as I thought about it, the more I thought on how weird it made things Luke seems like the cheerful type, so seeing him sad, wasn't right to me.

"I've been thinking about what you said earlier, Akki." Luke suddenly said, "It's rather weird for you to suggest us be friend, when we just meet..."
I silently gulped as I awaited for him to finish his sentence.

"Did he find me weird?" "Was he gonna tell me to go away?" I kept wondering.
Luke then continued,"But, I guess that whats you interesting."

"What's that suppose to mean!" I said as my face turned red.

"Nothing really." He said while smiling, "besides the fact that you trust people to easily."

"Huh?" I uttered.

"Well, you did blurt out that you were my friend. As far as you could have known, I could be a serial killer... your lucky I'm not." Luke said then laughed.
My sweat dropped, as I stared at Luke unbelievingly.

"Was this the same person who live in his sister's shadow." I thought, " He seems more happy then I first had met him and he's smiling for real this time. I wonder why?"

We began to converse with each other, as we approached the lunch room. Our conversion ranged from the math homework we were assigned to what we were going to get for lunch. Luke had made his own lunch at home and I settled for a melon bread. Luke and I quickly grab a sit next to each other and began to chow down.

The lunch room was filled with laughter and I noticed that the ranks were all grouped together. Everything seems to be at peace as I quickly ate my bread. I quickly prayed that no more surprise would happen today. I had not expected for Jensei to be so rowdy. When I first applied for JBA, I had done as much background as I could, but it didn't prepare me for anything here. From the scary discipline committee to the unique characters at this school; it was overwhelming. I was bought back to reality when Luke began to speak.

"Hey I think someone's watching us, Akki."

I putted my half eaten melon bread down, and looked around. From the edge of the table, I noticed someone hiding behind the chair. I could make out long blue hair, but most of their features were hidden. At first, I thought it didn't have anything to do with me, but I recalled what Luke had said before.

Flashback
"I could be a serial killer... your lucky I'm not." Luke said then laughed.
Flashback end

I instantly became nervous about the idea of being killing by the person behind that chair. "You don't think, they're dangerous, right?"

Before Luke could answer I noticed the figure move from behind the chair and I could make out their appearance.
She was a short girl with blue hair tied into pigtails. She was currently blushing as she made her way to us. Once she made her way to me, she began to speak.

"... Ano. Are you going to eat that?" She said in a sweet voice.

I then began to realize why she was stalking behind the chair. She wanted to eat a melon bread, but probably didn't have enough money for one.
I smiled at her and offered her the rest of my bread. As I did, her eyes gleamed as she began to eat it.

"Thank you... mister... for the bread.

"No problem", I said, "My name's Akki and this is Luke."

"Yo" replied Luke.

"Ahh... I'm Date Ito... I'm in Rank C. Nice to meet you" Date said as she bowed down.

"I should get going back to my table, thank you for the bread, Akki." She said and leave.

"That was sorta nice of you." Luke said with a creepy smile planted on his face.

"What do you mean by that and what's up with that face?" I questioned.

"Haha. I was just wondering if you had an obsession with young girls" Luke responsed.

"I do not!" I rebutted, " She just seems to be hungry, that's all."

"Aww! Don't be mad Akki, I'll support you no matter what your like" He joked.

That comment got as both laughing, and I couldn't help but wonder if this would last forever. What will happen when my secret is revealed? Will I be hated and cast away? I couldn't tell for sure but I had a feeling my world would come spiraling down once more.

Took me about an hour and 15 minutes for this short one. I wanted it to be longer, but was afraid it might spill some of the other themes.

7. Eternity

      Arc 1.5: Hidden Secrets

A hooded  figure dressed in a black cloak appears on top of the Jensei school building. The mysterious figure stares down at a person coming out into the patio. 

Unknown:

As I looked at the figure from below, I couldn't help it but become angry. That person ruined my life, he killed "her", the only person I loved.

Flashback [3 years ago]

Sumi Akiyo, a short and slender girl with brown hair, she is usually quiet and shy, but for those who know her; she could be the kindest person you'll ever meet. We have known each other for a long time now, and were with each other most of the time.

I was currently waiting for her in the front of the playground, we used to play in as kids. To be honest, I was pretty nervous, since what I wanted to do that day could be a life changer for all of us.

That's what I planned to do until, Sumi showed up with him, Akki Saito.

Flashback end

If I had knew what would happen later that day... I would have never let Sumi go anywhere near that monster.

That day changed my life, and I vowed to kill that demon, if it took me for an eternity.

"So your the trespasser, I've been told about" a voice said.

I looked up and noticed her, the rumored monster prefect of Jensei, Akira Kihara

"And here I thought I came in undetected, but I guess I can't underestimate the power of your disciple committee." I said while smirking.

I lifted my hood to reveal green hair as I continued to smirk at the prefect. Her rumored bloodlust was proven correct when I noticed the killing intent surrounding her. Her infamous scythes began to form in her hands and she quickly launched herself at me.

"Those who violate school rules, must die 10 times!" She said.

While I think you've got an interesting idea here, I find it a bit off putting with all the flashbacks and whatnot. Though that's probably just a personal thing for me.

But I just wanted to comment and let you know I am reading this.

Although I'm not really doing it for the comments, thanks anyways! Also, I thought the flashbacks would be a better way of explaining someone's past without them having it to explain it them self. They're shouldn't be that much any more, after Akki's past is revealed.

Ii understand the not doing it for the comments (well, to an extent because I'm a glory hound lol), but like I said, I've been following it, so I thought I'd let you know.  I do also understand where you're coming from with the flashbacks, like I said it's just a personal thing I have, I never think they work well no matter who does it (even me when i find i have to use them). But other than that, like I said, I believe you do have an interesting story, so keep it up.

So far this was the hardest one for me, luckily the next chapter will be packed with more action. Akki's history with Ken and Sumi will be revealed.

8. Gateway

      Arc 1.5: Hidden Secrets

Unknown:

 As expected from the reputation,, Akira proved to be as strong as they said she was. I was barely dodging her attacks, when I noticed that Akki was leaving my range.

I tried to go after him, but was stopped by Akira.

"Your not going anywhere" Akira said as she continued her relentless attacks.

"Phantom Blades" She declared and the size of her scythe increased in size.

I knew I couldn't afford to lose sight of that demon, so I decided that the only way to get away is to beat her. I quickly materialized my own weapon, which was a sniper rifle.

After, Sumi's death, I vowed to get stronger to avenge her, and kill the person responsible. I won't fall down now.

"Time Bullet: Decrease" I yelled and fired. I only had one shot to get away, one chance.

Time Bullet is a move that alter's the person's perception of time within it's range of space. The person doesn't froze, but slows down instead.

The bullet managed to slow down Akira, as I quickly made my escape.

When the effects of the bullet were off, I knew Akira would come search for me, but I mustn't let that stop me. With that said, I jumped down and landed in front of the Akki, as he was going to enter the building.

The blonde guy next to him quickly got in a defensive position and lighted his hands with sparks.

"Long time, no see Akki." I glared at him.

He was silence for a moment before he began to speak.

"Ken..." He said looking concerned.

His face seems to remember all the pain, he made me suffer as he looked deeply troubled. I will make sure to send him back to the gateway of hell, myself...

Akki's secret is finally revealed!

9. Death 


      Arc 1.5: Hidden Secrets

Akki:

"No.. H -How did he find me?" I thought as the memories of my past resurfaced.

"Ken" I managed to said.

"You know this guy, Akki?" Luke said, while looking concerned.

I was at a lost of words, and silence filled the air. It seems like time around us  has stopped, but Ken then began to speak.

"What's wrong, Akki-kun... Ha. You look pale." Ken said with a smirk, "Don't you go dying on me now. Cause I'll be the only one to do it. A gun then began to form in his hands

"Go to hell" Ken shouted and fired his gun."Time Bullet:Decrease"

All I could think of when I heard the gunshot, was how I deserved to die.

I'm hated by the world, so I should do it a favor and die. As the bullet was about to hit, it was destroyed by a shot of lightning. With the bullet gone my perception of time returned back to normal. I quickly looked to my left and figured out Luke must of stopped the bullet.

"Why" I asked.

"What do you mean, I wasn't going to let it hit you." replied Luke.

"Hmm, you know protecting a demon is considered a sin right?"  Ken interrupted.

I froze as he said those words, and couldn't come up with the words to said.

"Akki isn't a demon" Luke then declared.

"I'm not surprised you didn't know, but that guy is a killer" He said and proceeded to aim his gun at me.

"W-What!? That can't be true!" Luke shouted.

"You don't believe me? Well I'll show you." Ken then pointed his gun at himself."Memory Frame"

Our surroundings soon faded into darkness.

"Where are we?" questioned Luke.

I was about to speak but Ken interrupted me.

"Memory Frame. The person hit with his move will allow them and anyone else around to view their memories."

"So we're in your memories" I managed to said.

Ignoreing me he then turned to face Luke.

"Your about to find out his guys true nature." He said.

Our surroundings soon began to change and and a park began to form.

An 11-year old Ken could now be seen in front if a fountain. He appears to be waiting for someone.

"Ken! Ken!" A voice could be heard coming closer.

Then she appeared a girl with short brown hair.

"Sumi..." I whispered as tears began to form in my eyes.

Behind her was my 11-year old self, holding her hands.

The younger Ken seems about to past out, when he noticed the two of them together.

"Who is he?! The younger male shouted.

"This is Akki. I met him on the way here, and asked if he wanted to come play with us. Sumi giggled, "Is it alright with you Ken?"

Ken could be seen blushing as he answered, "S- Sure, as long as he doesn't cause trouble." He immediately looked away.

"I'm Akki... Saito," my younger self then said.

"Ken. Ken Sawada." he said.

Alright, let go! I heard of this new arcade that just opened up." giggle Sumi in delight.

The scene then changed into the back of an alleyway

Ken and Akki both tensed when they saw the scene.

Both the younger males were currently on the floor, with three guys  holding Sumi by the throat. Tears were flowing down her face as one of the guys began to choke her.

"Stop it!" The younger Ken said.

"Hehe. Watch your mouth boy. Her life is in our hands" One  of them said. He then began to choke her harder. Sumi then began to scream louder.

"Lucky we found these little kids wandering around, aren't we boss." Another one said.

"No, stop this!" the younger Akki, shouted. 

The ground then began to shake and everything was soon covered in darkness. When the darkness finally lifted, there he could see it. The bodies of the three gangster laying lifeless on the floor. Next to them laid Sumi Akiyo, in a similar fashion, but with deep gash across her stomach.

The memory ends their as the patio soon began to appear before them.

"What.. Why.." asked Luke in disbelief.

So he hates me now too." I thought

"You see, that guy is a monster. The only way to get rid of his sins is death!" announced Ken."Thousand Shot"

He fired the shot and it soon multiplied. I was awaiting my death, but the shots never came. " Wave Pool"

The bullets were all destroyed, and there I could see her: Date Ito.

This half arc is over, and Ken joins the main cast. The next arc will be the Warring Ranks Arc. Also this was my 10th entry so that means I earned my rank of courage. 

10. Opportunities 

      Arc 1.5: Hidden Secrets

Akki:

"Date! what are you doing here!" I yelled at her, with disbelieving eyes. I should be dead right now, but this girl I barely knew saved me.

She was silence for a moment before speaking in a nervous voice.

"I wanted to repay you for the melon bread you gave me... so I followed you," she said with a blush.

"i was going to ask you if you needed a tour of the school as a thank you, but the next thing I knew I was surrounded by darkness." She continued.

"So you must have seen it to, right? Why would you save a demon like him" Ken said with a glare on his face.

As I looked at the ground, I couldn't help but feel nervous on what would happen.

"Would the three of them kill me?" I kept wondering.

"Akki's not a demon, he's just like everyone else ", Date declared.

"He killed all of those people, and you still don't consider him as demon, rebutted Ken.

"That was all in the past, he's different now." Date said with confidence.

'His sin is too great to be ignored. Enough talk, killing him is the only way to avenge her death." shouted Ken."Thousand Shot"

"Electro Shock."

A shield of electricity erupted all around us, canceling out the bullets.

"Sorry, i can't let you kill Akki. I really don't care about his past. What matters now is the present.", Luke grin, "Besides, we still have alot to learn about each other."

"Luke... Date Thank You." I said as a sign of relieve escaped me. At this point, I was almost at tears from the actions of the two.

"Touching... but I'll just kill you all if you stand in my way." Ken said as he frown. "Time Bullet: Increase"

Within seconds, Ken disappeared and reappeared right behind me. "Die, you demon"

"Wave Prison" Date shouted.

The ground where Ken was standing began to turn to water, and a barrier formed around him.

"Shock Impact"

A blast of lightning then hitted the barrier, evaporating it.

I expected Ken to be turned into ashes, but he was no where to be seen.

"Where is he?" asked Luke.

Suddenly, the both of them were hit as bullets rain from the sky. I quickly looked above to see Ken, before he disappeared once more. This time he appeared right in front of Luke and was preparing to shot him. I scanned to where Date was, but she was unconscious from Ken's attack. I knew I had to do something, but if I used my magic, there was a chance I would kill someone...

"Luke saved me last time, so it was time to repay him" I thought.

I then began to activate my magic for the first time after 3 years. My hands glowed black, as I felt the dark magic course all around me.

"Torching Darkness" i yelled as a beam of darkness made it's way across the patio, hitting Ken. 

Not expecting to be hit, Ken crashed into the wall.

He was now badly injured as he attempted to stand.

"You! I won't forgive you!" yelled Ken as he struggled to fire a shot. He began to lost conscious quickly, and he fell down with a thump.

As I decided on what to do next,  a familiar black fog began to form and the prefect Akira stepped out.

"So he's already been taken care of." She calmly said.

I quickly tensed up, as she began to walk towards us.

I feared what she could do to me, but I  had to say something.

"What are you going to do to him" I told her, as I prayed that she wouldn't kill me.

"Intruders must be dealt with according to school rules. He will be handed to authority's." Akira replied in a monotone.

"Ano... if it's alright if I asked a favor?" I muttered.

Hearing this, Akira's eyes began to glare as I feared she would tear me apart.

[3 hours later. Jensei's Infirmary.]

I was currently awaiting for Ken to awaken, as I stared out the window. After the battle, both Luke and Date were taken into the infirmary, but they were both released earlier.

My thoughts began to wonder back to what happened 3 hours ago.

Flashback

"What is it?" Akira said.

"Well... ano... please let Ken stay here!" I quickly said.

"Why would I? He broke into the school." She replied.

"It wasn't his fault... I want to make things better between us." I said as I prepared to die.

"Hmmm... he is strong, so he might help Jensei out.I'll allow it, but you'll be in charge of him. If anything happens I'll kill you ten times." Akira said before disappearing into the

mist.

Flashback end

I was pulled out of my thoughts, when I felt Ken began to wake up.

As he got up, he saw me and immediately got in a fighting position.

I knew he still wanted to kill me, but I wanted to make things right between us.

"Sumi was my first friend you know?" I clearly stated as if no one trying to kill me was in the room. Ken seem to calm down abit.

"She was friendly and sweet, and was she never deserved to die."

'It's all fault, that she died. so you have every right to be mad at me."

Tears were falling from my eyes, as Ken remained quiet.

"So I get it if you want me dead" I continued to said.

I was about to speak again, but a fist suddenly crushed into my face and knocked me backward.

When I Iooked up  at him, Ken finally spoke.

"One hit. I could never forget the fact that Sumi died because of you, but I could move on with one hit. " He said, "Besides, Sumi would surely be sad to see me like this any longer."

He offered me a hand up, as I took it.

All I could think of was how this opportunity gave me the chance to finally be free of my past. I'll make it up to him, some how.

This arc won't be the world is at stakes kind of thing, saving that for the next one.

11. 33% 

      Arc 2: Warring Ranks

Akki:

After the events of my first day at Jensei, I was now in my apartment near the school. Ken was currently sitting on my couch, cleaning his gun while humming to the song on the radio. I  had invited him to stay, when I told him he would be going to Jensei and he didn't have a place to stay. I was busy cooking a meal for the both of us and thought how funny life could be sometimes. Just earlier today, Ken tried to killed me but now, but now look at where we are,  My first day at Jensei was eventful, and I hoped it would settle down after today, but I had a feeling it wouldn't.

 [The next day.]

Ken and I were currently walking to Jensei when I heard somebody call me.

"Akki! Good Morning" yelled Luke as he ran up to me. He suddenly became tensed as he saw Ken right next to me.

"Don't worry about him, Luke. We made up after our fight yesterday." I quickly explained, but Luke didn't seem to relax.

"He tried to kill you Akki, how can you trust him?" rebutted zluke.

"That was all in the past", Ken finally spoke up, "You said what happened in the past doesn't matter, remember?"

I felt killer intent leaking from the two, as I tried to calm them down.

"Come on guys, we'll be late for class if we don't hurry." My sweat dropped.

:I guess your right, Akki. Let's go then.", uttered Luke.

"Hmph", was the only thing Ken said as we continued to walk to Jensei.

[Timeskip. Rank F, Mrs. Ikari classroom.]

Mrs. Ikari motioned the class to settle down as she introduced Ken. Mutters were heard around the room, about how two new students in so little time, was weird. Ken haven't taken the ranking test due to request of Akira. She wanted me to keep an eye on him apparently. Ken took a sit to the right of me as Mrs. Ikari began her lesson.

"Alright before we start today's lesson. I have an announcement to make." She declared.

"The annual Jensei Ranking Battles will be taken place in one week. It has been decided that our class, will be the one to represent Rank F."

Noises of disappointment filled the classroom before settling down.

I looked at Luke and asked him, what the Ranking Battles were, but Mrs. Ikari seems to have heard it and answered for him.

"The Ranking Battles, is a head to head battle between the six ranks, to determine the best rank there is."

"Why bother," I asked, isn't  Rank A the best?"

"The rank your put in only determines your magical powers, nothing else." replied Mrs. Ikari.

"However Rank F has never passed the first round and it's rumored to have a 33%." She continued.

"33% of what" I questioned.

"Rank F only has a 33% chance of not embarrassing ourselves." She said sweetly.

Everyone fell over, as she said that.

All I could thing of was what was to come in a week.

These next few chapters will be mainly fluff and lead into the Ranking Battles.. 

12. Dead Wrong 

      Arc 2: Warring Ranks

After class, Ken, Luke and I were currently on our way to town Both Ken and Luke were currently glaring at each other as a dark aura surrounded them. Luke seems to be distrustful of Ken after what he had did, but I had a feeling that this was for the best. I knew deep down Ken still hated me, but I had hope to become friends with him. I just hoped that when the time comes, I won't be abandoned. The ranking battles didn't start for a week, so the school was closed in order to prepare for the event. I had heard that the battles were open to the general public, so a ton of people will be watching the battles. I was thrown out of my thoughts as I noticed that we had reached my apartment. We were planning to complete our homework, that Mrs. Ikari had given us. Although, the school was closed, we were still required to study. I secretly groaned as the thought of the stack of homework that had to be done.

"Let's get started, shall we" Luke said with a smile as with sat down around the table near my bed.

[Timeskip. 25 minutes later]

"Ahh. This is to hard" Luke cried out.

"Come on, we'll only on the third question," My sweat dropped.

"Idiot." muttered Ken.

"Care to repeat that, bastard" Luke said glareing at Ken once again.

"Come on guy, calm down." I tried to reason with them.

"I'm just saiding what's true." replied Ken.

Tick marks then began to appear around Luke

"That's it, Luke declared, "You're dead."

Lightning soon began to appear on Luke's hands as Ken materialized his gun.

I quickly jumped in front of them, but it was to late. They had already launched their attacks.

"Thousand Shot" 

Luke quickly dodged the bullets as the table I was working on was destroyed.

"Roar of Thunder"

Lightning then shoted out of Luke's mouth and destroyed the ceiling.

After a while, I had thought they would had cooled down, but I was dead wrong.

I just kept thinking on the damages I would have to pay for the apartment or what's left of it.

 

13. Running Away 

      Arc 2: Warring Ranks

Ken, Luke and I were currently walking to Luke's home to spent the night, after their fight destroyed my apartment. I was currently weeping on the inside as the only way to pay for the damages was to get a job.

The sun was just starting to set as Ken and Luke were arguing about something. As we were walking, Luke suddenly spoke up.

"Hey, look it's hot springs?" He said pointing to a wooden building at the end of the street.

"So what." Ken said looking annoyed.

I had a feeling that another fight would break out, so spoke up.

"Why don't we stop by,"I tried to reason.

[Hot Springs]

Once we had entered the springs, the male side was empty. As I entered the waters, my muscles relaxed after a long day. Luke soon jumped in and creating a splash. Ken soon followed, looking annoyed. We were filled with a comfortable silence, which I was overjoyed with. It was a nice change to the consent fighting of the two.

That was until Luke had to ruin my peace and quiet.

Deeming it to boring, he took a basket of the springs water and poured it on Ken.

This started another round of their infamous fight.

It just started with them throwing water at each other, but Luke had to take it up a knot.

"Thunder Burst" He yelled out.

"Wait, we're in water" I shout, but it was to late.

Sparks of lightning hited the body of water, and frieing everyone inside. Luckily, for us we were the only one currently in the hot springs.

We then heard the door open to reveal the old lady we was running the hot springs and she was holding a broom.

"Why you! I'll teach you all a lesson to ruin my hot springs." He screamed as  she started chasing as.

In the end, we had to run away from the crazy lady in our towels all the way to Luke's house.

The look on Kiyo's face when she opened the door was priceless.

14. Judgement 

      Arc 2: Warring Ranks

"So care to explain?" uttered Kiyo as she was trying to hide her blush.

The four of us where sitting in Luke's living room, as Kiyo looked at us, debating something in her mind.

Luke had given him some of his clothes to change into, since we left our clothes at the hot springs.

They were a little too big for me, but I'll be going to get my stuff tomorrow morning, so i didn't mind much.

however, Ken looked like he could kill somebody and muttering about looking like an idiot.

It was Luke who answered Kiyo.

"Well, you see... we were running from this lady at the hot springs and well... umm... forgot to grad our clothes on the way out?", he said.

"Monkeys, will be monkeys. i guess, but don't think your off the hook." replied Kiyo, "Your lucky dad's on a business trip and won't be home for awhile, Luke."

"He already thinks your a disappointment, better not let him down even more", she smirked.

Luke looked down, as Ken and I stared at him in silence. Kiyo then began to spoke once more.

"You'll always be a failure, your meaningless" 

That sentence echoed in my mind, as I thought of all the times, i was treated coldly.

Luke didn't deserve this, no one did.

"Stop it"I yelled out, "Your suppose to be family, not passing judgement on each other."

Kiyo seems to have been surprised at my response and Luke looked up.

"Hmph, what ever" Kiyo said and began to walk away.

This left the three of us alone in the room, as we were surrounded by silence.

Luke then spoke up.

"Thanks" He replied.

I smiled, "That's what friends are for."

I then looked toward at Ken, who has been quiet for awhile, only to find out that he had fallen asleep.

My sweat dropped as Luke quickly showed me to my room.

15. Seeking Solace 

      Arc 2: Warring Ranks

Akki:

 The rest of the night was quiet, and morning soon came. I made my way out the room, Luke had shown me to. I then went to the living room, where we were yesterday. That is where I found Luke and Ken sitting on the couch.

"Morning, Akki," Luke said with a slime.

"Morning" grunted Ken

"We were just thinking of going out for breakfast." Luke then said.

"Sounds great!” Let me get ready."

 

[SIZE=10.5pt][Timeskip. 45 minutes later][/SIZE]

 The three of us, were currently sitting at a cafe I had picked out. Both Luke and Ken wanted to go somewhere else, but we got kicked out due to their fighting. They were still looking as if they could kill each other at any moment.

"I need to go to the bathroom" I said in order to get away from their killer aura. I quickly slipped into the bathroom to splash water on my face, and left to come back to the table.

When I came back Luke and Ken were both busy talking. From afar I could still hear to them.

"What a loser, that Akki is, don't you agree Ken?" A smirk made it on Luke's face.

"What were they saying" I thought.

"I can't believe he actually thought we were friends. What a dork" Ken said.

At this point, I couldn't believe it. I thought they were my friends or at least we were close.

Tears were threatening to fall from my face as they continued to talk.

"Hmph, I would kill him the first chance I could" Ken said and Luke nodded.

 I couldn't take it any more, my legs started to move on it's own and before I knew it I ran outside of the cafe while crying. As I was running, I failed to noticed purple mist dissolved around me. I all cared for was seeking solace from my so called friends's harsh words.

[back at the cafe.]

Luke:

"Wasn't that Akki, that just ran out the door? I asked.

"Why would he run out, we hadn't even had our meal yet." replied Ken.

Moments earlier when Akki had to go to the bathroom, an awkward filled the air between us. This was actually the first words we spoke since Akki left.

"I just hope he comes back quickly." I said.

[Jensei Battle Academy]

"Did you do it."? A mysterious voice said.

A purple mist then began to appear an out step a guy in a mask.

"Missoin Complete" He said with a smirk.
