Qtpi has a template here http://forums.rpgmakerweb.com/index.php?/topic/17846-%E2%99%A5qtpis-sprites%E2%99%A5/?hl=qtpi
Open the first spoiler and then the spoiler inside it marked 'templates'. It's only the female, but you can use it as a basis for a male figure too. -
Ah that's nice, but it looks like chibi, not Mack..

Hmm those are pretty hard to see.

How's this? I skipped out on doing the details on the legs, but it should be a good start. -
Yes that's good! How did you do it, if I may ask?
-
I erased the legs and redrew them, then moved the arms forward so the torsos didn't look so turned to the side.

LucyFox made a nice Edit-Tutrorial for sitting XP-Sprites. The Style might be different, but the size is similar, so maybe it helps with further sprites. -
Ah nice!
Just one question. In the 3rd point he/she says to move the leg one pixel to the left. In the 4th part he/she says to move the upperbody 1 pixel to the right. Why not move the leg 2 pixels to the left? That makes no sense :p -
Because a walking sprite needs to be centered but a sitting sprite needs to be moved slightly to one side, right?
