  1. All credits to Kadokawa and Enterbrain for the base tileset. This is a simple edit meant for an overhead effect in your caves in case the player finds some low ceiling areas.

Feel free to credit me for the small edit. It looks good in game but I use a lighting script that makes these look workable. If you aren't using a lighting script or you are in a bright cave, I recommend using shadows. I might edit this at some point as the spikes seem to point towards the screen instead of down and away as they would be oriented based on the original tile.

I'll likely be doing a few edits here and there so I will just update this thread.

  2. A minor detail that makes the most realistic cave.
    If I create a cave guess I'll use. :)
  3. Thanks! If you have any ideas/requests, feel free to drop them on me. Anything to assist the community will actually assist me because I am currently working on ways to spice up my game and maps outside of parallax mapping.
  4. Is it possible you could show a screenshot of that if game? I don't know how it should look. I really like the idea. Thank you very much for the edit and your time.
  5. My recommendation would find a way to make your ceiling appear more 3-dimensional. An overlay that gives the player something to the effect of a game screen frame might work. (Such as some rocky borders using the bindpicturetomap.js)

  6. That looks pretty cool . Defiantly fills in some empty space with a nice effect . Thanks for sharing and showing the screen shot.
