  1. So I was told to take things more seriously, yea I know right... So I have decided to clean this topic up and show you guys some of the main items we have been working on over the years. A big part of what I do is editing the companies base work but sometimes I get to make other things! So here is some stuff we have done over the years, I will try and update as best I can.

The candy was done for a halloween event, the dress was a RTP edit that I turned into a german milkmaid top :D And the Dom is because we both love Gundam :p
  2. Never liked gundam much, I just am very picky about mech stuff. Actually the only one I love is uh... Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion I love this anime, and its the only mecha show I like.

But I do like your sprite there, not too bad.

What!? But Gundam started it all! there would be no mech anime without Gundams success! But I am glad you like it, I have been wanting to get some feedback to motivate me to actually finish it.

Theres a lot of original stuff I don't like, but instead like the stuff that come from its origin, I'm a very weird person. lol.

I'd work on my own pixel art and stuff, but I committed to making a game in a month, lol. And I plan to do it.

Oh, and keep it up. Practice your booty off, I'm sure you can get really good.
  5. I think Gigantor was the first mecha series to really bring forth everything else, but I could be wrong o.0. Also the Pixel looks lovely :) Omega Good Job :thumbsup-left:
  6. I'm not a big mecha fan, myself, but that's pretty good for a first attempt.  I'm sure you'll get much better with practice.

I've heard it takes 3,000 hours of practice at something to master it.    But, if you enjoy doing it, the practice is enjoyable as well.

According to my RPG Maker Steam account, I have about 2,600 hours to go!
  7. I am pretty confident in my skills so no worries, I already have a updated version.

  8. In my opinion, the lower part of the legs as well as the feet should be wider: it's a distinctive trait of the Dom which we don't see in your art... :)

Just my 2 cents: take care!

Ah someone that knows the series!!! Your right they need to be wider since the doms hovered more then walked still figuring out how to make it look right though.
  10. I'm not familiar with the series but according to google.... this is what the character is?

If so, foremost, don't design the pose like a 3D model, give it some life, spread the legs, bend the knees, and bend the arms.  Your shading is so light you shouldn't have wasted your time with it.... you don't see it at all, but get the pose right and then focus on shading, it's a ton easier to change a flat character than a fully shaded one.

Look at his silhouette and make sure you can recognize the character that way, then you'll know you have it right
  11. That is NOT a Dom! That is a much later "hollywood" version, Doms do not have the jet packs or small machine guns, or anywhere near that crazy detail. Gundam is from the 70s! Google Gundam wing and you will see fancy stuff like that, I like Gundam Wing to but it's nowhere near as good as Gundam.

Now that I got some interest in this topic I think I will work more on it :p
  12. My favorite series is 08th MS Team, but Char's Counterattack was what made me fall in love with the original UC timeline. Gundam Wing introduced me to the series' though.

    Here's the full size original: MS-09R Ms-09R.jpg

but I prefer the updated versions in the later series'. I loved how nimble they were on earth compared to the lumbering Zaku and Zaku II's.

Now THAT is a DOM! Doms kickass! They are the perfect mid range unit in terms of strength, far stronger and faster then a Zaku but not as elite as the Gundam models. I loved playing as them in "Gundam Zenoic Front" A PS2 game. But even when you could play them in the new PS3 Dynasty Warriors Gundam they are sweet for the challenge.

Here is a update, I am still thinking about how I want to do the legs since dom legs do not have the freedom of movement as other suits. I was thinking of a slightly bent down version since thats true when they charge.

  14. Why's he surrounded by sexy bunny ladies? Lol

It is common anime knowledge that most Mech pilots are chicks, duh. ;)

There are SOME female mech pilots but not many!

And I have the legs looking better! Well more true to the Dom, i'm not sure If I should add in his bazooka or not.

  19. Of course you should! I was thinking that something was missing...  :D

But here is the thing! it might be ok to have him walking around with it but what about in battles? Since the system I use takes the char sprite sheet it wouldn't look right for him to have it not raised in battle, and for walking around it would not look right to always have it raised. But maybe I am getting ahead of myself, and should just make a basic walking around sprite? It's not like I am making a Gundam game after all, though how cool would that be!
