Shards (Icons) for Galv's Magic Shards Plugin (2200+)

    Thought I'd share these with everyone.

    If you are unfamiliar with Galv's Magic Shards plugin, feel free to check it out here.

    These are icons and can be used for other things as well I'm sure.

    Orbs are original work by me and the runes are edits/recolors of sunburn's runes. If you use the runes please credit sunburn. I require no credit and all images are free to use in commercial and non-commercial projects.
        

        

        

       

     









     

    Here are some square icons which also include states and status effects

    If you would like more recolors or have a different design in mind (besides the orbs and runes) let me know and I'll see what I can come up with.

    On a side note, considering the slots for the plugin are round, I've been sticking to round icons... Should I make square ones too?

    Square might be a bit to square - bit what about diamonds and such? I think shapes might look cool - even if the slots are circular :)

    Also, nice icons~

    I'm using this plugin, so these look quite appealing ^^

    Glad you like them! Just posted some more icons... some of which are different shapes... we'll see what people think of them. :)

    I'd like to see the set from the second to last image in the spoiler in a pink color, as in the last image.

    Great work on these, btw. They all look amazing!

    The ones with the heart crystal and little swirly bits, there's not really a proper pink set of those ones. There's purple and darker purple. ^^"

    I see what you mean. Working on a whole new large set, but I'll be sure to add the recolor to a more proper pink when I post that :)

    Here are the ones you requested and I went and did another row of recolors for the relic ones and... a preview of the new set I'm working on in the bottom half... there will be a LOT in that set when it's done. Hardest part is figuring out which colors to use for each symbol... might have to make some symbols have multiple colors...

    Also... if anyone wants a specific symbol in a different color, let me know.

    i love the yin yang. :D . could be nice to use in a game that have eastern fill.

    how about some japanese / chinese character for the element next?

    fire, earth, wind, etc.

    Done the 1st set of Chinese characters... Think I might eventually add more characters (with their translations of course) if I can come up with enough symbols that are still readable at that size.

    Maybe its just me, but I think that 暗 instead of of the 黑 should be used to represent dark.

    黑 means black and is mostly used in describing color.

    健 seems a little out of place, but that's just me lol..

    Think this might be a case of the characters not coming through right... I used 黒 for dark which is dark/evil - they are VERY similar though which is probably where the art can mess things up. As far as 健 goes... I think it was me just not knowing what to use for the pink "element" lol
