Seeking Visual Novel Character Artist for Sci-fi/Action/Drama

"Who are you and what am I getting myself into?"

I'm Evo! Also known as your resident writer and programmer. And this...is 'Catch!' (working title). Catch! is actually one in a planned series of loosely-connected games all existing in the same multi-verse, the connection between which won't actually be expanded upon until ("You're going on a tangent!")...Right. So, before we go any further, here are a couple of important notes:

To start, the setting of this project is modern-day Earth, albeit a version of Earth which happens to include superpowered humans. Thus, any potential artists can rest easy that the focal points will not be giant mechas or interplanetary warships or alien biotechnology, etc. More likely than not, there may be a bit of somewhat advanced technology here and there, but nothing to run screaming for the hills from.

On the other hand, one aspect that MIGHT be pause-worthy is the fact that this will not be a small project by any means. I'm not suggesting a Naruto or Legend of Galactic Heroes (see main image on this page)-sized cast by any means, but more than would probably be considered standard.

"That's nice and all, but what's the game actually about?"

Seemingly out of nowhere, Parker North receives a text message from a blocked number, his mysterious correspondent identifying themselves only by the name ____. According to the message, the lives of hundreds of thousands of unnamed citizens hinge upon his absolute cooperation. Eventually convinced of the sender's sincerity, Parker finds himself being led through a series of increasingly bizarre "missions", equal parts amazed by his apparent competence and confused as to why his probably literal partner in crime ever assumed he'd be capable. In truth, this is a dream come true for Parker; ever since he was a child, he'd been harboring hero fantasies. But, he never in a million years would have thought he'd actually get the opportunity to pursue them.

Unfortunately, that probably makes what happens next a...bit of a bummer.

Plunged into a side of the world he never knew existed and having to come to terms with the consequences of his actions, Parker may well have to become the kind of person he hates in order to be what the world needs.

"And what do you want from me?"

I'm glad you asked! At the moment, I'm only looking to recruit a character line artist. Eventually, we'll also need to bring in a colorist, background artist, composer, etc., but I figured we'd start with the basics. As the character artist, you would handle both sprites and event CGs (minus the backgrounds). Style-wise, I'm envisioning something leaning more towards the "serious" end of the spectrum (think Death Note or Cowboy Bebop) rather than heavily stylized, but this is not a hard and fast rule. In other words, I'm still open to suggestion.
